We have a much loved 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. After several routine services in the Syd city area, we were advised by our local mechanics that the front and rear suspension needed replacement. While unable to confirm exact cost, the indications were prohibitive.

With YouTube’s help and recommendations from friends, we discovered GDL - and we are so glad that we did.

From our first contact, the team at GDL were extremely professional. They priced the rear suspension competitively at a standard cost and after an efficient replacement, gave us the all clear on the front.

After some negative experiences with Jeep dealerships, I took mine to GDL to see what they could do. They took my Jeep for a good look and diagnosed the problem while I had a walk and a coffee next door.
We scheduled a date for the repair; I dropped off the Jeep in the morning and it was all fixed in the afternoon. The price was better than I expected, and they didn't muck me around like some mechanics I've dealt with over the years.
I highly recommend GDL for common sense and good, honest work.

Had a great visit with gdl hornsby, I know they special in Jeep and landrover but I took a chance and tried with my audi rs4 to get service and oil leaks fixed, all done at a good price and quick turnaround, obviously not afraid with the audi models

Great experience with the GDL team at Hornsby. Replaced the blown oil cooler on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and had me back on the road in 2 days.

GDL are a great team of mechanics, I have no hesitation in recommending GDL to anyone who needs their car serviced or repaired. Also a Brilliant bunch of guys who can’t do enough to provide great customer service.

It didn’t start off as the best experience but GDL were great! We had to travel from the Central Coast and there were issues with our Jeep Grand Cherokee when we collected it which required us to go back down again. But they not only fixed the issue they went above and beyond. Would definitely used them again and recommend.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the entire team at Hornsby for their fantastic work in rectifying a major coolant leak on my Grand Cherokee (check out their video to get an idea of just how difficult this job actually is!). Cannot recommend GDL more highly for their level of professionalism and competency. I really like the way they can tell you what is going on just by listening to the noises from the engine. I was impressed. If you own a Jeep then you must check out GDL for all mechanical service.

The A team (Chris, Dannie & co) at Hornsby sourced & mounted my Bobcat tyres within the day when we we're in a bind! Have also turned around vehicle repairs promptly, with no fuss multiple times - saving us valuable time & money!!

Gdl automotive has never serviced or touched my Jeep Grand Cherokee as I live in Melbourne. But I would recommend them in a heartbeat. The information and reassurance that Dannie has passed on to me in order to get preventative maintenance done on my vehicle has been very valuable to someone like me who is new to the Jeep family.. I needed re assurance and confirmation before proceeding with repairs, and Dannie provided both. The thing is, he didn't have to. Highly recommended.

Hi, I watched YouTube and decided to change the jeep inlet manifold, big mistake.
Finished job, engine faults lit up like Christmas tree, tried to fix no improvement, didn't think it would ever go again, contacted GDL they looked at it re installed manifold, sent to their auto elect, codes gone car runs better than ever has and their advice to me don't touch the car.

So glad I found the team at GDL Automotive. Not only are they knowledgable about Land Rovers, but they genuinely care about the customer's experience. Excellent value and more importantly, trustworthy advice. Only negative is that it's pretty hard to park up there in Hornsby at times. Great work gang, thanks for great customer care.
