Massaman Curry was on point, and the Tung Tong Curry was wonderfully balanced between heat sweet and smokey flavours.

Truly wonderful thai with friendly quick service, excellent vegan and vegetarian options as well as high quality Thai dishes.
Highly recommend, basic Thai dishes are reliably good. The opening hours are also later than most other restaurants in the area so it is always a great option.

I'm on holiday in Australia and was taken here by a friend last night for a meal. Yum! It was all beautifully presented and very tasty and probably the best Thai I've ever had. Will definitely be back.

I love this place and their service! Very polite staff and are attentive. The food is great and tasty. After paying your meal they’ll give you a little chocolate treat. Will definitely come back and try more dishes in their enormous menu list.

This restaurant is near my girlfriends parent’s place, and we always make sure to visit long enough of that we can swing by on the way home. Their mussamun curry is the best I’ve ever had from any thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff are always friendly, and the service is fast. They’re also very good with allergies, especially gluten free.

Our favourite Thai joint! The food is delicious and fresh. They’re happy to oblige when we ask to adjust the spice levels (we like it spicy!). The seasoning is balanced. But most of all we come for the amazing hospitality of the staff. Do check it out!

Consistently great. Have been coming here for years (should have written a review ages ago!). Trust them not only for delicious food, but also always great service, and a good understanding of gluten free. It's a great time to be helping out local businesses, and these guys are definitely worth it.

Have been coming here for many years and these days we eat here - or have takeaway - at least twice a week. The food is reliably delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. The staff are also lovely. We've eaten at Thai restaurants in various parts of Sydney and throughout Australia and have rarely had food as good as the meals we have at Tung Tong Roong.

Stopped for dinner on the way from Canberra to Newcastle on a public holiday Monday night. Easy to find & park. Not busy but not too quiet either. Ordered pawn laksa and pad Thai. Authentic. Delicious. Pleasantly spicy. Prompt friendly service. Complimentary prawn crackers AND after dinner mint chocolates. Nice decor and dining space too.

Definitely the best Thai restaurant in Sydney. Try the spicy Tom Yum prawn soup and Spicy Pork Pad Thai. The flavours are very authentic and customer service is excellent. Food arrived at our table resonably quickly - about 15-20 minutes.

I have only been there for lunch, the lunch specials are fantastic. Beautifully cooked curries & stir fry's at a good price. Fast service, plenty of seating, heIpful & friendly staff. I highly recommend it.
