Graze Willow Tree Inn

What spectacular accommodation and steaks!
We stayed in a majestic king suite.
Artfully stayed, room was quiet and comfortable.
Only possible improvement would be to pop a low pillow in the cupboard as pillows quite high.
We had dinner in private room - steak and service second to none.
A true five star gem in country Australia.

Travelled from 2 hours away for lunch and it didn't disappoint. The service from the very start was personal and outstanding. The atmosphere is polished, country and complete. The menu was attractive, even if it was not extensive and the meals were quality. This was our second visit and we will certainly visit again.

Attended a wedding on a nearby property, so opted to stay here, as I had had prior association with The Late Charles Hanna and was aware of his project to refurbish The Willow Tree Inn and establish Graze Restaurant, providing prime beef from his Colley Creek property, some 14 years ago. Very impressed with our experience staying here. Our dining at Graze was wonderful and enjoyed staying in a King Lodge for 2 nights.

Beautiful building, very pleasant staff and exceptional food from their award winning restaurant.
Everything I experienced here well exceeded expectations with the exception of their cocktails which were weaker and sweeter than normal.
The rooms were comfortable, clean and had modern ensuites.
I would definitely return!

What a wonderful place I walked through the door, and the atmosphere was terrific. I sat down and had a nice cold beer. I went and sat in the lounge. It was nice and comfortable and the nice cold beer went down quite well. The staff was terrific. The atmosphere was great I highly recommend calling in even if you stop for a Coca-Cola beer tea or stay to me, it’s great it’s a 10 out of 10 from michael

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday night for his birthday. We stayed in the King Lodge which was stunning. Dinner at Graze was just beautiful with wonderful service from the staff. To top it off a fresh cooked breakfast is included. Definitely be back

We rode up here with a few friends this weekend. We all got a king lodge room. To say I was wowed is an understatement. Those rooms were beautiful, the attention to detail in the rooms and in the whole pub is fantastic! Beautifully decorated. We were made feel very welcome by all the staff and the included breakfast was a lovely suprise too. We had dinner in the private dining room which was quaint and beautiful. The food I was a little disappointed with, I can’t say it was bad by any means but I think for the price and the image they are trying to get, it just missed the mark. The coffin bay oysters were fresh but a bit on the small side and really more like Sydney rock oysters. I had the sirloin bone in and look it was ok but I guess I was expecting outstanding from reading up about graze. Also I had the jus that just missed the mark again. Hubby had the same and our friend had the tbone that looked spot on. Another friend had the pasta with prawns and she said it was ok. Another friend had the scotch fillet and we all agreed it was a bit thin but he enjoyed it anyway. All in all we had the best weekend and we love the place. I think with a little tweaking it could be outstanding.

We caught the train from Tamworth to visit Graze. We were met at the Willow Tree station by the restaurant staff who drove us to the restaurant. The cattle farm is only 2km from the restaurant. The food and service were fantastic. I had the eye fillet. I can also recommend the butcher across the road.

Graze did a most wonderful lunch for a celebration party of 14. Rivka from the outset was gracious, professional and helpful in the planning, The staff also helped to make the day go smoothly. The 2 coarse set menu worked so well and there was no problem us bringing a birthday cake. The atmosphere was great and due to a scorching day it was not an issue to last minute sit inside.

Called in for lunch today, loved the decore, it is clearly family friendly, all servers and bar staff were immaculately presented, every worker wore a smile and were happy to answer all enquiries. The grounds were imaculate, Food was top notch. It is a place that I will be happy to take friends and recommend to all for a most plesant dining experience

Friends told us about Graze so we made sure to book in when we planned our trip to Tamworth. It did not disappoint! Great service, great wine selection and the Rib Eye on the Bone was delicious! Great vibe also.

Good experience! We enjoyed drinks and dinner at Graze. The steaks must be some of the best in Aus! Really good - the cut, the quality and the preparation.

My favourite place to get away and the best steak in NSW, great service and a wonderful experience. It's an amazing experience everytime I come here. MUST TRY!

Our Stay was Lovely ,very clean ,bed was exceptionally comfortable very clean aswell all staff were more than accommodating.

Friendly service by the girls on the phone. Room was absolutely gorgeous. Bed was very comfortable. You would not think you are in Willow tree. You think you're in the big smoke in a 5 star motel.

Stopped in late Friday evening on our way from Woollahra to Tamworth, without a booking. The staff were fantastic and the food was divine. We ordered two steaks and a side of broccoli and carrots. The steak was amazing, cooked to perfection. I love a good bit of broccoli and when it came out as a giant piece of Calabrese Broccoli I was stoked….none of that sour Chinese broccoli around here. All things considered it was an amazing feed and I will be stopping in regularly from now on. To the people on here saying that the meat is overpriced, sure you can get cheaper steak at Woolies, but the meat they serve at Graze is proper steak, locally sourced and it’s bloody delicious and priced appropriately 5 STARS all the way into ma belly!

Food was amazing as expected...would love to go back again. Accommodation was modern, clean and roomy - recommend

Stayed at the willow tree inn, friendly staff very attentive beautiful king room with ensuite, Graze restaurant was excellent, meal and again great staff and service would definately do it again

Dropped in for dinner, didn't know what to expect was hungry. Just looks like a ny other bistro from our front but once you get inside and out the back to the restaurant, you're met by professional and attentive staff and the venue is upmarket and cosy with a MASSIVE open fireplace. The food was elegantly served and super delicious. (100% recommend the the jalapeno mash potatoes)

Will definitely make my way back for a feed again!!!

We visit every few months on motorcycles and stay the night. Great food, lovely staff and terrific hospitality.
