If you like pool, few drinks and good food, this is your spot in Wallabadah! Amazingly friendly staff and the delicious main meal with unbelievably yummy dessert! Definitely visiting again!

WOW...That was an absolutely sensational meal. All six of us very very impressed with our meals. With no exaggeration that is probably one of the best pub meals ever. The King Prawn linguine was delicious, steaks cooked to perfection with lovely fresh vegetables and the salads were very tasty, not your normal pub salad. Great menu, very affordable and even better OUTSTANDING friendly customer service. The new owners need to be congratulated they are doing an awesome job.
We will most definitely be back, can't rate highly enough.

If you're on the New England Highway in the area of Muswellbrook - Tamworth and feeling a bit toothy, keep on coming to Wallabadah and its extraordinary pub, you won't regret it.

You will get no better country cuisine, irrespective of what you're willing to pay.

The quality of the produce and the skill of the chef to bring out the most exquisite natural flavours and texture, without the apparent use of the spice rack, you won't find anywhere else.

You won't do better on this track - we've tried and will keep coming back.

Dropped by for a meal. I was latish but the kitchen was still open. One of the best Pub Rumps that I have had a long time. Great piece of beef 🥩 Only downside was no Diet Coke but I’m blaming Coca-cola for that one. Well worth visiting. I’ll be back again tomorrow night.

Because I have a dog, we ate lunch in the beer garden. My guests were Portuguese Australians. It was my friend's wife's Birthday and I am sure she was not impressed with being on a work related weekend with a stranger. The Portuguese are famous for their cooking. At the end of the meal she said, "This is the best steak I have had in my life"

On our way back to Sydney after an exhausting fossicking day. Needed a good meal. This pub delivered! We gad fish & chips & salad for $18 each; best I’ve had in a long time… & I don’t usually like fish! Batter on the fish was perfectly crunchy without being overdone, chips were crunchy, salad was not just normal boring tomato & lettuce - added red onion & small cubes of beetroot. The venue is renovated to modernise, with several roaring log fires - very welcome on a cold winter’s night. Friendly locals & publican. Worth a stop on your way past on the New England Highway.

More friendly staff. Meals great. Nice re-furnished Beer Garden. The Community Christmas Party is in full swing, Santa has just arrived & standing room only in the Beer Garden.

Great spot to call off for a drink!

Dropped in without a booking, lovely hosts arranged a room for me. Room was well appointed and spotless. Nice pub menu, I had beef burger which was great. Bonus light breakfast included. Very reasonable prices, off street parking.

This is a very friendly pub with yummy meals.The newly renovated rooms are clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced which included toast and cereal.

Me and my husband road trip from Warwick down to Sydney. As the only food place out of almost nowhere this little hotel is a keeper. The owner and the wife were the only staff I suppose, with one or two local old gents visiting, watching a cooking show at lunch time. Very proud history since 1970s, I wouldn't say it was a warm hospitality but we could indeed feel their down-to-earth life style and such a local laidback greet. Menu was simple, food was no fancy but yes okay like chips, schnitzel and steaks. They had a quite standard bar, suited the principle that reglass less food you have to have good beers :)) Overall a genuine abstract of the local's real life. Authentic Aussies.
