First Fleet Memorial Garden

Well kept grounds, donation run park. Toilets are clean and showers as well. Pet friendly cafe close by a little traffic noise early evening not late night so sleeping is not a problem. Great stop over.

Corine and the ground staff keep this beautiful area absolutely immaculate.

What an outstanding place to see when some of my ancestors were First Fleeters gave a sense or pride to see it all as well as quite emotional at the same time. Took lots of pics.
Ended up staying 3 nights at the free camp here & gladly gave a donation for it as to have hot showers like that was simply amazing & with tap nearby I did my washing in a couple of buckets & hung it out to dry, lucky it fined up.
Very nice creek running by was very tranquil done listening to it & you got to love the local resident Magpie swooping everyone doing the protection thing as was feeding babies.

Great Memorial Gardens, but why so far from where they landed?. Worth seeing took wonderful photos and saw my rich ancestry which the precious reality is amazing.

Great place to pit stop has a playground for kids, toilets and lovely garden spaces and great Australian history learning for the family.

Other than the grass needing to be cut (only due to rain) this was a great place for a stopover.

This park allows overnight camping in your campervan ,caravan or tent also it provides shower and toilets facilities , donations of $10 + is encouraged to maintaining the park.
