Who'd A Thought It Lookout

A surprisingly pleasant lookout area with plenty of picnicking options. There are many tables, chairs and even BBQs available. The view is almost panoramic across the entire valley.
This was a nice rest stop area on a long drive. Not sure how it got the name.
Public bathroom is also available.

Not caravan friendly to get to as it's a VERY steep bitumen road. We went up by car only. Great views (almost but not quite 360 degrees). Nice place for a picnic with shade or in the small shelter.

Well worth the (very) short diversion up to this lookout. Magnificent 360 degree views, arrive about sunset to see the sun disappear behind the mountains. If you’re up for it, arrive before sunrise to see the valley light up. There are electric BBQs and toilets, covered seating and parking. Seemed to be well kept.

This is really an amazing lookout with 360 degree views - quite surprising as the name suggests.
If you are driving through Quirindi you really should make the effort to get up there.

If you are looking for a place to have a break whilst driving through Quirindi, this.is a must see. The views of the plains are magnificent, the breeze.is great, there are picnic tables, a bbq and clean toilets. A favorite with.our family

Who would have thought this place would offer such incredible views, have a play gym with two gates, toilet facilities and eating shelters. Must visit if you happen to be passing by.

A great place to camp and great views with minimal traffic around.
Has toilet, doesn't have shelter to roll swag out but is well grassed with some flat areas

Wonderful views of the township and beyond. Peaceful and relaxing. Great sunrise and sunset views too.

Decent view of the whole area, has good facilities, toilets are a bit of a walk though.

Excellent view from the top of the surrounding countryside. If your into collections, Bob's Shed is right next door.
