In just had the best lemon pepper calamari ever! Compliments to the Chef!! Coul not fault, Trnder perfectly seasoned and cooked and tender and temperature. Best ever Ive ever had!☺👌

LOVED IT! The food here was so delicious! definitely my number one pub feed. Even the steak was high quality, actually cooked to perfection and the playground was so great for our Nephew. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Took family including grandchildren for lunch at Narellan Hotel and very impressed.
The Hotel was packed but food arrived in reasonable amount of time, hot and delicious.
Loved the animal balloon man they hired, all the children were enthralled

Food was beautiful, nice clean eating area.

Had my work Christmas party here with the banquet menu for 36 people. It was a lunchtime do with people with kids. It was a great venue for our function, roomy enough and the outside area for the kids if needed. It wasn't too hot inside and with the doors open it was quite cool.

The food was generous! I think they could cut back on their serving size/share size because we had tons of left over.

I would definitely recommend it again to others for their Christmas party. I didn't find the staff sparse but we just went to get our drinks and they brought out food and topped us up where needed and were friendly enough and not hovering constantly.

Mostly felt sorry for the other patrons because we were taking up so much pristine space!

Attended the Mothers Day brunch and was very impressed! The food was fantastic as was the service. Super organized, lovely setup and just an overall enjoyable ambience. Couldn’t have asked for better. Will definitely make this our annual Mothers Day venue. Special thanks to Karen for helping me to organise the booking last minute!

My nephew from overseas, Sweet 16th, my 47th & a pop up wedding!
Karen & her team looked after everyone! Food was Awesome, service Amazing & the beverages flowed!
We had over 150 people, 3 live bands, traditional Samoan dancing, loads of laughter & general happiness all round!
Nothing was too much trouble.
It really was The Best Day!!!

Honestly, it was THE BEST Venue. We had 150+ guests, the whole beer garden, play area for the kids, verandah & A HUGE band setup. Our guests are still buzzing from the fun atmosphere & relaxed vibe!
The cost was beyond reasonable!!! That bar tab though 👀😱🙈😂😂.
Don’t overlook these guys for your special events!

Let me set the scene: it is Mother’s Day and we have just completed a walk around the Australian Botanic Gardens in Mt Annan. The plan was to revisit the Camden Valley Inn to express thanks to my mum for everything she does via a glorious schnitzel as previously reviewed by Rodney Holmes on that venue’s Google Maps page.

Due to the unknown timing of completion of the walk, I did not make a booking at the Camden valley Inn.

As you can probably guess, there was very little space, and as luck would have it, the heavens opened up with a localized downpour at precisely the moment we arrived, sending all those seated outside scurrying for cover and any remaining tables were quickly snapped up.

For this reason we abandoned the attempt to dine at the Camden Valley Inn, and decided to head back towards Sydney and stop off at the next available pub with a decent looking menu and at least 4 stars on Google Reviews (I note that prior to this review, the Narellan Hotel was sitting at exactly 4.0 stars, hence this review was not added in a corrupt attempt to bring it up to par for my mother).

The Narellan Hotel was identified as the most appropriate option. Upon arrival, there were far fewer people meaning that there was abundant choice in seating. We had arrived at the prime time between lunch and dinner, and thankfully this was not one of those pubs that closes their bistro in the prime hours between lunch and dinner.

Fast forward approximately 20min after we had acquired a few beverages and decided what to eat (don’t worry my mind was made up on a Schnitty well in advance), and our food had arrived.

I selected a schnitzel ABB. To clarify, the schnitzel was not manufactured by the Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation in the electrical equipment industry. The ABB stands for how the schnitzel was beautifully adorned with Avocado, Bacon, and Bernaise. Usually I am not one to adulterate the basic Chicken Schnitzel with unnecessary toppings and condiments, but on this day I was feeling it. And I must say it did not disappoint. The crispy bacon perfectly complimented the crispy batter and crumbs of the schnitzel. The avocado slices lended a creaminess in addition to the lashings of Bernaise sauce. The dollops of sauce were such that the usual condiments of mushroom or pepper sauce (or mustard as I am known to enjoy) were not required.
The chicken itself was well cooked and sized, of appropriate thickness and strength of chemical bondage to its crispy batter.

The accompanying chips were well seasoned and nicely cooked. Cannot fault.

The accompanying salad was reasonably good, nothing that brought enlightenment but not bad, except for the two large slices of cucumber which I don’t really care for in this context.

Price was $24 for standard option schnitzel, plus $5 for the cost of manufacturing 3 off ABB high voltage electric motors for use in one of the many pump stations found in Sydney Water’s vast potable and wastewater network.

All in all, a very good experience after the chaos and disappointment of not getting to eat at the Camden valley Inn again. 8.5/10.

Just wanted to share the experience I had last night at dinner. I had the barramundi fillet with a leek and prawn vichyssoise. It was fine dining right here in Narellan and for only $32! So delicately balanced - nailed the vichyssoise. Thanks!

Staff are friendly and well presented. I was given the suggestions of the cheaper trade lunch specials, but opted for a menu listed item. I took the classic pub schnitzel but added the clubhouse topper which was one of several topper options. Food was made timely and presented well. Chicken was cooked through and was still moist and full of flavor, even though batter had crispy edges. Salad had a mild non overpowering dressing which is a plus for me. Meal cost $22.00 plus $7.00 for the topper.
Signage around the establishment clearly inform patrons of specials, upcoming events and directions of utilities around the hotel. Bar, restaurant, kitchen and tables are clean and well presented. Tables were not overcrowded with gambling or promotional material. Smoking area is adequately designated away from non smoking patrons and no smell of smoke lingered through the hotel.
Toilets first appearance appeared fine, but are in need of a detailed clean, especially on wall surfaces and silicone joints, where mould is starting its presence. The floor wastes and plug and wastes in sink are dated and clogging with grime and dirt from foot wear and use from time.
BEER - beers were poured as a two pour and held head well in the Narellan Hotel branded glasses. No taste of dirty lines, so either recently cleaned or regular service to keg room and lines.
WINE - I was solo on this visit so am unable to comment
STAFF - knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Colleagues have banter and friendship showing the establishment is a nice place to work with.
MANAGEMENT - were present throughout my short visit. Hands on management as opposed to other venues running via security system.
FOOD - timely, hot, tasty, pricing I would not like to see go any higher but meet the price to ratio to quality range.
As always gambling is not applicable for me but the systems and availability appear to be working and functional.

Overall a neat and tidy establishment which presents well and embraces the community.

Hosted my sons first birthday party here which included a live band and jumping castle. The food was delicious and the staff including managers were very kind, helpful and attentive - always making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend hosting another event here!

Great pub! The fresh Carlton Draught from the tank goes down well while watching the footy and boxing. The giant Chicken Schnitzel, Chips and Salad is unbelievable value at $12 on Monday and Tuesday nights. And during the pandemic, you can get it to take away! Big verandah out the back is the best place to relax on a sunny afternoon.

The customer service is exceptional by Karen and the managers on duty by being accomodating to their clientele as well as the stylists their clients have booked and organised setups for their special events. I am a business owner of an event company and every time I deal with Karen she has been exceptional with allowing me to bump in and out at the times that suits me around my other commitments and honestly I rate this venue probably one of my top few if not the best in dealing with on behalf of an event stylist point of view. Karen should be recognised for her kindness and flexibility within her role which makes a huge difference when you’re an event organiser/manager

Can’t fault this place. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional and it came out relatively quick considering how busy they were. We loved the atmosphere and the outdoor play area for the kids. There was also a free face painter who did a great job. We definitely recommend this place and we will 100% be back.

First time at the new Narellan Hotel and It was nice. Gluten free options were great, the staff asked all the right questions when I ordered. Atmosphere was friendly. Would definitely visit again.

I worked with the events coordinator Karen Grima for my 30th birthday and the night couldn’t have gone any better, the space was spacious and beautiful! The staff were friendly and the food was amazing! The guests have all raved about how good the food was and how lovely the venue was and enjoyed the atmosphere. We have had guests wanting to enquire for their own future events here. Very easy and Karen was quick to respond to queries and always had an open line of communication. The chef on the night did a fantastic job, the pork belly bites although we’re on the lower end at one per guest which left some guests hearing raving reviews and didn’t get to try it. The bar staff were also friendly and quick. Thank you for having us.

Great pub. Really good chicken parmi and descent priced drinks.
