Fantastic Mother's Day lunch today. Perfect pork knuckles, superb rye loaf of bread with paté, ham and pickles, delicious apple strudel for dessert, nice complimentary drinks for mums. Highly recommended

Had the Mountain Climbers Salad, was very delicious. The waiting staff are so sweet and the atmosphere is fantastic, they even have Yodeler Performers sometimes!

Ordered the Wednesday All-You-Can-Eat-Meat special with my family. Massive serving of quality food!

Can be pricier than pub grub, but when you take into consideration the atmosphere it's worth it.

Came here in the height of Covid. The staff handled it exceptionally well and honestly I loved having the place more or less to ourselves (it can be a little loud otherwise). We absolutely loved the variety here, from buffalo cauliflower, fried pickles with a squeeze of lemon, their delicious juicy burgers or delightfully tart lemon shandy. You will not leave here hungry!

Great meat fest !! Had the warm pretzel which is a must as it is warm and served with butter.
Ordered the platter for 2 people which is very filling and tasty with a pork knuckle, an assortment of sausages, potato mash and a couple of cabbage dishes as sides. You won't be disappointed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would return again.

Just finished the Oktoberfest special and have left feeling full and satisfied. I was very impressed with our waiter, she memorized perfectly our order from 5 people without writing down a thing. The food was amazing. Giant schnities, pork knuckles, 1 litre steins of German beer. It was all cooked perfectly and came out quickly. And the cinnamon pretzel, wow, so good! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I'll be back again very soon.

First time dinning here last night and thoroughly enjoy the food. Service was great and they were very polite and made the experience more pleasant. Will definitely come back again.

Im not a big fan of beer but definitely enjoyed my mango beer!
Is good they have different verity of beers to suit certain taste buds... definitely recommend 😊 Ooo n not to mention happy hr 😉🙌🙌

Quiet Tuesday night. Staff were really polite. Ordered a half knuckle and they gave us a full one by mistake. Chicken Parmi was great. Could of drank schnapps all night

Great food, I always get the Jager Chicken Schnitzel. I probably wouldnt get the chicken wings again as they were tasty, but nothing special. Always friendly customer service, the staff there are amazing. Generally pretty quick. Atmosphere is great, although I generally get it for takeaway.

We had a booking for the Macarthur Tavern for a young girls 17th birthday party. Upon arriving the licensee told us we could not enter even though they knew the details. In urgency, not being able to move 30 people we called The Bavarian. Luckily they were able to accommodate us, and Katelyn went over our expectations. We were more than happy to spend our money here and the kids enjoyed this place even more than the other. The staff were amazing too. Cannot thank them enough for getting us out of a bind and their service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. and the food……. Absolutely went down a treat.

Not the cheapest place but the food is always amazing. Love the giant pretzel for an entree, yummo. A decent sized restaurant with a large outdoor area.

Last night was our first time eating what seems to be a new menu and it was great! The the meat platter with the pork belly, schnitzel and sausages is so much better now without the pork knuckle! The pork belly burger was Aweosme, the schnitzel and Swiss with the pretzel bun was so damn good! Please keep these consistent whatever your doing now is perfect!

Had lunch today and everything was delicious. My sister and I shared a 3 course meal with all the German favourites. All the meats were cooked to perfection and the range of alcohol was second to none. Will definitely come back
