Hype DC Macarthur Square

I hardly leave a review for a store. But having a great shopping experience here made me do it.

This is the first time I shop in Hype DC. I went there around 4pm on the last day of black friday sale which was on Sunday. I was so desperate to buy something to replace my old adidas pair. They were closing at 5 but the sales person named Dylan was very kind and helpful, as well as being informative. He even showed me how to clean the New Balance suede shoes by cleaning his own NB in front of me 🤯. And the other thing was he helped me find the perfect shoes when i said the first pair i tried has slight imperfection. He wanted to make sure his customer is fully satisfied with the purchase that’s why he didn’t mind going back to the storage.
I would say he’s really fit for the job for having the best customer service and attitude! I would definitely go back there to shop again in the future.

On Monday my husband and I were met by the nicest sales assistant. Polite and very helpful. My husband purchase Lacoste shoes and was really happy.
My size was only available in the display shoes, the sales lady was nice enough to order them for me from another store and they were delivered by Wednesday with a lovely hand written thank you for your purchase note from the Shellharbour store.
Great experience. Wish all stores appreciated their customers as much as these guys do.

I had the best customer service today from a staff member today around 1pm, he had blue nail polish and grey NBs on.

They were out of stock of the shoe I wanted so he gave me so many options and I found an alternative I loved.

He was very kind and apologetic because he was super busy while his other team member was on break.

10/10 would recommend shopping here after this experience!

Amazing customer service. I was served by Jaika (sorry if I spelt it wrong) she was SO helpful. I kept requesting so many different shoes and different sizes and she was so happy to help. Definitely give her some recognition for her customer service. I didn’t get the name of the other 2 on but they were just as polite and helpful. Great experience there today and I got the perfect shoes because they were so helpful!

Pretty terrible customer service, the sales rep working didn't even acknowledge me I had to really work to get her attention. When I did get a chance to talk to her she told me they didn't have the shoes I was interested in in size 8, that I should try platypus and ended the conversation.
The Hype DC I normally go to will order my size in to the store or get it directly delivered to my address.

No greetings or offer of help received when I visited the shop. It was not even busy at that time (morning on a weekday, off-peak hours). The staff appears to be just "posing" instead of actually doing work. There are other better shops that is worth getting my cash.

Zero help from this place. It felt like they do not want to sell anything. Very rude behaviour just because I tried a shoe and didn’t buy it.

The worst customer service that I ever seen . The girls woh work are very rude and never smile. Don’t recommend them
