The Wy Yung Pub

Awesome steaks. One of the better scotch fillets I’ve ever had. Not a long wait for meals, friendly servers, and really nice bistro room. Partner had a Parma - also really excellent. Looking forward to heading back, will book for Valentine’s Day if I can find someone to watch the kids!

We had lunch at the Wyung Pub today -29th September 2023.
The food was delicious! The 5 of us all had something different to eat and we all enjoyed our meals.
A special thank you to 'the boss' who offered to refund the cost of my sons steak as the 'boss' thought the steak was too small. We declined the offer as the steak was cooked to perfection and my fussy eater ate everything on his plate!
In fact, everyone ate everything on their plate!
Staff were lovely and friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was pretty chill and great- We will be back for sure!

Nice old-style pub. We arrived a little early but were greeted with friendly service. Our lunch exceeded expectations - will be back!

Busy pub with a great atmosphere, we stopped in for dinner and got a Parma each which was a good price & nice quality. Will definitely go back again soon!

Parma night for a great cause! Was a queue for ordering and drinks, but a good opportunity to talk and catch up. Food came our reasonably fast, considering the crowd and it tasted great! Chips cooked to perfection. Restaurant wasn't as big as I remember, but I was a while since I was there last. Next visit hopefully comes sooner. Recommend!

Quick service as we walked in at near end of lunch and was very busy,well done chefs. Meals tasted awesome had the standard Parma and chips . Partner had the honey soy prawns...yum

Great pub food, good quality and decent sized. Garlic bread is a meal in its self. Dillon who served us was really friendly and welcoming. Worth heading out of Bairnsdale for if you are travelling through.

This is the most amazing pub I have ever been too. If you are in the area definitely give it a try as it has amazing food, beer and atmosphere. The service is amazing and the people are nice. Recommend hovering Aaron Barling a talk too. One funny bloke.

The food was fantastic. I haf the calamari with salad and it was a large dish and very yummy. The wedges was a madsive side order could feed a family or group of friends. Garlic bread was delicious best ive had in a very long time. Would definatly go back if i was travelling in that area.

We went to the Bistro for our Christmas party ordered some food. There was a mix up in the food and we just told Sam about it. She was brilliant she apologized and then asked us if it was ok that we wait while she changes the mushroom risotto and also offered us a drink while we wait. I have been to many plces and countires never have I had such fantastic service. Also the food is great a must go.

Brilliant pub fare & some fancy options too. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, great service. I even met the owner and he's totally down to earth. I always get suspicious of reviews like mine so just for the record...no, I don't work there! I'm from Melbourne🙂

After the renovations, the bistro is looking great! The meals are very generous in size and taste amazing. Jacqui, Antony and their staff are fantastic and provide a great service.

I ordered the pork belly!! Omg! Best pub meal i have ever had! The service was perfect, so polite and helpful! My partner had the aussie parma, it was HUGE! Kids all left happy and full! Best pub in the area. Cant wait to go back!
