Five stars all the way! Our experience with this daycare has been nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of a big family. Special thanks to Patt, Lin, and Shaun for their incredible care and dedication to our little one over the past 1.5 years. They created a nurturing environment where our daughter thrived, and we couldn't be more grateful. Sad to say goodbye due to relocation, but we'll cherish the memories forever. Highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their child.

Our little one spent 4 wonderful years at E&D Castlereagh St centre. After having visited many centres in the CBD prior to E&D, we knew instantly from the first tour we had with Paul, that it was the right place for our son. The team is made up of many dedicated and passionate educators, with many of whom our little one has built strong bonds throughout his time there. Thank you Paul, Linda, Shawn, Patt, Peter and Deana.

Sienna attended E&D since she was 6 months old. I was initially nervous about leaving her at daycare, but my nerves quickly vanished as the staff are so wonderful and took such good care of my baby girl. E&D was like a home away from home for Sienna, so much so that she did not look back when I dropped her off in the mornings. You will all be sorely missed. Thank you Paul, Daisy, Linda, Betty and the rest of the team.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the wonderful experience my 2-year-old daughter had at Explore and Develop Castlereagh Street (E&D) over the past year. From the very beginning, the staff made us feel like family. They provided a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that allowed my daughter to thrive and develop both socially and academically.

Paul and his highly competent team were not only attentive and caring but also skilled in early childhood education. They tailor activities to the age group and developmental stage, which greatly contributed to my daughter’s growth. I witnessed a remarkable transformation in her social skills and communication abilities during her time there.

The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The daily routines, including nutritious meals and nap times, were thoughtfully planned.

What truly sets this E&D Castlereagh Street apart is the sense of community and the strong bonds that my daughter formed with both her caregivers and fellow little friends. It's heartwarming to see her excitement when it's time to go to 'school.'

I can't thank the team at E&D enough for the love and care they provided to my daughter during this critical stage of her life. Leaving her there each day was easy because I knew she was in the best possible hands. It is a shame we have to move out of the locality. I highly recommend this E&D Castlereagh Street to any parent in the area seeking a loving and enriching environment for their child.

We've been enrolled for 2 years and my son really loved it there. Paul is very hands on and the educators are great. My son loves Peter and Pat (at home I have to cut the apple like Peter hahaha). It's a very clean and organised center. Paul always listens and tries to accommodate every requests. We highly recommend it and we will miss being there.

Highly recommended! Our now 2 year old was enrolled here for about 1.5 year and absolutely thrived. As an anxious new mum I fell in love with the large, bright spaces, and with the open and transparent communication. The educators have been outstanding and frankly unmatched in the energy they bring to the room. I've gradually watched my little one come out of his shell at E&D, singing and dancing in between running around with the many trucks. Everyone at the center always knew my boy by name, and was able to comment on his day and progress - something I found very reassuring.

With a little sibling underway we've now made the difficult decision to enroll our son closer to home. He has adjusted beautifully to his new daycare - something I credit to the confidence and trust he's built at E&D. We miss the centre very much and wish you all nothing but the best!

Our daughter attended E&D for almost a year and half, she started in the nursery room where she had the most wonderful care and attention. The team are so caring, nurturing and are true educators. We saw our little girl turn into a toddler who was happy to go to daycare everyday.

The team really follow the child's pace of learning and create amazing connections that help the child feel at ease.

There are amazing updates on a regular basis and the centre really feels like a whole family. There are lots of events and communications that go out to engage everyone.

The centre director is by far one of the most amazing and truly inspiring people. The love and attention he has to his centre, children and community is unbelievable. He is an easy communicator and will do everything to ensure your child is comfortable and safe.

We love E&D!

Our daughter Hazel attended E&D for a couple of years and she absolutely loved it! The educators are lovely and go out of their way to ensure all of the children (and parents) feel part of the E&D family. A special mention to Paul, who owns and operates the centre, it really makes a huge difference having someone who truly cares about the children first and foremost, run the show! We cannot forget one evening when Hazel was the last one to be picked up and Paul was there playing with her, pretending to be a horse, full on hands and knees on the floor…. Thank you Paul and team for the past couple of years and for the lifetime of fond memories. You guys are truly amazing and we can never thank you enough. We highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a caring, fun and supportive environment for their young children.

My daughter started going to explore & Develop at the age of 18 months to develop social skills and to help with her speech. We did our homework being new to this whole daycare business, we were feeling very overwhelmed with what to do until we visited Explore & Develop.
Paul is amazing he walked us through gave us information about the centre which had meal plans, App they use for daily photos how they offer speech pathology.
Straight away we felt comfortable with sending our children and they haven't let us down. Our little one was very shy and the team really helped her feel comfortable with in her class, this gave us the peace of mind that she was being looked after.

My son attended Explore and Develop Castlereagh care for almost 1 year but unfortunately we had to change as we moved to a distinct area. It was a very hard choice. The team was excellent to Kai and our family, being very informative, caring and accommodating always any special needs. They had a great app available keeping us informed of planning for the week and through the day (ssleep, food, nappy changes, activity pictures, etc) which was outstanding. Kids loved the center, activities and staff. I wish you a great future ahead and keep up with the great work, making positive impact in the development of children and families/life you touch.

Highly recommend Paul and his team. A fantastic centre with excellent staff, very attentive and caring and a really varied range of activities available. Our son has loved attending and has really flourished ever since first joining at 9 months until now being 2+ years. They are really strong at helping managing the transition through the different groups and their facilities are brilliant, with both indoor and outdoor areas set up. Also very clean.

Paul was an absolutely great director. He has had excellent staff who looked after our son when we first came to Sydney. We really needed an urgent spot for our son at a childcare centre after first week of arrival as we had to start our work at second week. I phoned Paul and he kindly accepted our application in a very short period of time. Paul even can speak Japanese which is our son's first language so it helped our boy settle very well in a new country.

Our children attended Explore & Develop Castlereagh St for 2 1/2 years and the experience was great. The educators and the staff were professional, caring with our children, and always responsive to questions or changes as our circumstances and needs changed over time. We were always confident that our children were well cared for and the teachers and the centre kept us really up to date with their activities, what's happening in the room and the centre. They were constantly seeking ways to improve the centre and expand the opportunities for the kids, including languages and sport. It's a great centre.

Our children have attended Explore & Develop Castlereagh St for 2 years and we (and our kids) have loved our time at the centre. Paul and the educators have become like a second family to us, and our children flourished with the love, care and attention they have received and the range of activities available to them on a daily basis. The centre facilities are to a very high level (both indoor and outdoor areas), always impeccably clean and the educators are constantly adapting the environment to ensure the children are stimulated and engaged.

I have no doubt that a huge part of our children's character is down to everything that has been poured into them at the centre over the last 2 years – and for this we will be forever grateful! I cannot recommend Explore & Develop Castlereagh St highly enough!

After 18 months, we are sad to be taking our son out of the center due to relocation. Sad, because we found the center to be outstanding. Paul and the team are very caring and highly professional. The center itself is a warm and loving multicultural environment, spacious and filled with enough toys and activities to keep any kid happy. Particular care was taken with our son who we started sending when he was 6 months old, where a lot of time was spent with him as he learned and developed.

We cannot thank the team enough for their time, love and care they have shown our son, especially through these hard Covid times, and had we not been moving we would have happily kept sending our son to the center.

We had both of our children at Explore and Develop from one year olds through to just before each of them started school.
I cannot recommend the establishment enough.
Our girls were cared for and genuinely loved by the carers throughout, many of which were there over our whole 5 year tenure.
It's also incredibly accessible with a car park tab the bottom, which made life easy. It also took the pressure off leaving work as you'd be with your children within minutes.

My 18 months old daughter has been going to E & D Castlereagh St Sydney for 4 months now and I couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Amazing staff and management, they really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment. Great play areas and learning programs.It’s wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to daycare here. I would highly recommend this place to everyone with little ones.

We used Explore and Develop for our daughter and she found a great connection with her teachers. The convenience of being able to work late at the office and it’s close proximity was a god send. Would recommend to anybody looking for care.

Our little one had over a year at E&D, and loved it. Her previous daycare had left her a reluctant to go, but the team quickly worked to settle her in, and it quickly became her new home away from home. Great educators and centre directors, healthy food, great school readiness, clean and modern facilities and a fabulous indoor space replicating an outdoors play area. Thanks team!

Our son attended this lovely daycare for two years and bonded with a number of passionate and friendly care givers who helped make my transition back to work much easier. He also made some great friends and loved racing around the large indoor play area with sandpit, cubby house and more. Lovely staff and owner is onsite most days. Highly recommend for those looking for daycare in a CBD location!
