CBD Medical Practice

I like Dr Fong, she is very attentive to everything what I said, asks clarifying questions. Receptionist reminded me to make a follow up appointment for my test result, and rang me on time to let me know my results. Generally, I recommand this medical centre.

I wrongly booked this medical centre, I thought I booked with my usual doctor, receptionist rang me to explain their fee policy and helped me to figure out my usual doctor’s medical center’s name. I decided to have a try with them. A male doctor I saw was really nice and explained a lot about my question, Will go to see doctor again and this place is much more close to my work.

I had an appointment with Dr Meredith today. She was very nice and patient with me, and answered all the questions I had. All the receptionists were nice and sweet as well. As it was my first time visiting there, they all introduced themselves, I felt very welcomed and engaged. I don’t want this clinic to be very popular as it will be my regular clinic but I totally recommend!

Thereceptionist and the doctors are very warm, friendly and extremely efficient. If you have any medical needs I would definitely suggest this team.

I cannot recommend this practice enough, and in fact just came back to work raving about it to my co-workers. Dr Sabapathy truly goes above and beyond any doctor I have met before, really taking the time to check your health, ensure you are okay and offer the best advice and treatment for your issues. I can see negative reviews relating to time here, but my experience has been maybe up to a 30 minute wait at the most, or no wait at all, and as previously stated, if you want someone who cares it is totally worth the wait. I would rather wait and see an amazing doctor than go to doctors that only care about billing as many patients in a day as possible and don't care about their health.

saw different doctors there several times. I found Dr Fong and a male doctor are both very good. receptionist were very helpful to find out where I can do my exam. I think I will go back to see doctor if I needed.

Convenient location, just across the road from Wynyard station on Pitt St.
Was seen quickly, doctor was lovely and caring. Some drs do bulk bill.

If you want thorough service then a consultation is going to take longer, and inevitably you'll be waiting a bit longer for your appointment as the person before you would've had a good checking over.

Dr Kua is amazing. We took our daughter to emergency for a persistent cough, to be told that it was just 'a phase and it will pass'. My instincts were telling me otherwise. Thankfully Dr Kua made a diagnosis straight away.

Also I recommend asking detailed questions re fees, waiting times etc if you want to avoid unpleasant surprises.

Highly recommended, I've been going there for a few years now. My regular GP is Dr. Kua who I've recommended friends to previously, furthermore experiences with other team members have always been positive, for example Jack is always professional and diligent. Also, it is a convenient central location for thorough skin checks which are bulk billed (as i recall in 2020).

After searching for a GP in the City, CBD Medical Practice was recommended to me almost 5 years ago. I was sceptical about a lot of medical professionals, however, I found CBD very good. I have recommended them to my friends. I have found they demonstrate the uptmost care, professionalism and diligence of all the Medical Practices I have visited. I can't recommend them highly enough. I have had all of my vaccinations including the Covid-19 shots at the practice by the Nurse, who has always worn a mask. Thank you.

I've been seeing Dr Vasantha Sabapathy for over 10 years and she's the best, most caring Dr I've ever had. Always lovely, she takes time to ensure I'm up to date on check ups and scans etc. I have no hesitation recommending her. If you want to see if she's running on time, call ahead and see.

All the adverse reviews I've seen here are due to long waiting times which I know is frustrating. It seems to me that waiting times are long because the doctors spend time with patients rather than run by the clock. If you can't wait, go to a clinic that is likely to spend less time worrying about your welfare and more on throughput.

I have been going to Dr Sabapathy for a few years now. I have found her to be an excellent GP who is knowledgeable, diligent, and highly competent. It's also nice to have a doctor who is punctual! She is also a particularly nice person. She recently picked up a heart condition that I had and dispatched me to St Vincent's where I had a life saving stent inserted the next day. Thank you so much Dr Sabapathy!

Been going there since discovering the place over a year ago. Service received has always been consistent, especially Dr. Kua. Even when she's out, the are quite a few other docs at the practice who also provided non rushed personal care. Couldn't recommend higher.

Have been coming to this practice for a number of years. I find the front office staff very helpful. Meredith Rowed is a very thorough doctor. Other doctors I have seen in the practice have also been thorough.

Here I have found one of the best GP I have ever had. Dr B. Kua is amazing, so professional, so capable, smart and always present and helpful. I highly recommend her to everyone, especially women.

First time in this medical practice as don't usually use CBD however, booked a lunchtime appointment and to my suprise was in and out under 30 mins. Front desk was very helpful in making the appointment with costing and date/times. Lovely experience.

I have used the medical centre for many years. The front office staff and my Doctor have been exemplorary.
Yes waiting times can vary, but the Doctor does not know what ailment they are treating until they see the patient ahead of you.

Although you have to wait some time for your appointment, even if it is booked for a set time, doctors listen to you and are very efficient! I do recommend it. Plus it couldn’t have better location for CBD.
