Cafe by Farmer and Sun

Fantastic place. I wish I could take it home!Locally sourced food beautifully prepared and reasonably priced. We tried the farmers brekky, omelet, carrot ginger juice, and strawberry almond muffin (🤌🏼). Everything was delicious and the service was great. The cafe has a fun atmosphere and plenty of seating. We enjoyed browsing the market next door as well. Definitely recommend!

Farmer & Sun is a Gympie must do. Attached to a fruit, veggie and essentials shop front, the Cafe reflects the area's 'paddock to plate' ethos effectively.

The food quality is great and presented nicely. Portions are well sized; a lot better than even the "good" city cafes.

My Farmer's Breakfast was amazing with a hashbrown added.

We also got a Mushroom Stack. It initially looks small until you cut and see exactly how stacked it really is! Very filling!

I love taking visitors here when in my hometown. 5 stars!

Just when I thought I was at a loss for finding good food in Gympie. I was introduced to farmer and sun. I had the eggs Benny and a fresh pressed juice. Really impressed. Presentation was beautiful, however the flavours were just perfect. Really impressed! Will definitely become a regular.

Best cafe in Gympie!! Everyone can eat here, they are very inclusive. Vegan options are fantastic. Had the veggie stack and you get what you pay for, a platter full of tasty food. The juices, smoothies and acai bowls are great as well 👌 will come back again and again 👏

The young man who served me was quick & very polite (great smile tall with black hair). Young lady delivering to our table, slid the plate across the table....not polite.

Nice little Cafe. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food in-store looked great . We had the Farmers breakfast. It was nicely presented and tasted great.

This cafe was recommended to us by a couple who used to live in Gympie & did not disappoint. Hubby had the smashed avo & I had the veggie stack as we both & eat plant based. Both meals were absolutely delicious & the coffee was on point too. We plan to pop in again next month on our way back up to Oakhurst 👌🏻

We traveled to Farmer and Sun well off our route to find a suitable celiac option. The prices were very cheap, so no surprise it was quite busy, the entire cafe is almost gluten free. This didn’t impact wait times and we had our meals fairly quick. The only negative feedback was the chips we got for takeaway, there was so much salt they were uneatable and we threw them away.

Had the Salmon eggs benny here and ordered fried tomato and avocado on the side...it was delicious. I have eaten at Farmer and Sun many times and it has not often disappointed. I love their ethos behind the food they serve, most of it I believe sourced and grown locally on their farm. The atmosphere is cosy, eclectic and inviting with air conditioning to keep you cool in the hot summer. Many healthy options available and friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Wow who knew Gympie was hiding this little treasure. We had breakfast: mushroom bruschetta and the farmers breakfast. Tastiest little mushrooms! Great coffee and in a lovely setting.

Eat here all the time and it is by far Gympies best dining. Breakfast or lunch everything has been excellent. And the coffee is amazing. Their attention to detail on the decor says it all about their passion.

Stopped there last Monday passing thru and tried the acai cup. Was very good, price was average at $16 and ambience was really sweet with a real farm feel decor. Would like to try other things on the menu next time I drive thru Gympie!

Wonderful tasting and looking cakes, great fluffy omelette and good coffee in a charming atmosphere. Highly recommended by a French connaisseur(me) ☺

Love the rustic charm at this Cafe. The food and meals are fantastic as is the coffee and service. Has lots of choices for GF, DF, Vegan, Keto etc. Highly recommend a visit.

Had breakfast/brunch here. Waffles with butterscotch and crepe with bananas were such such a delight. Lots of nuts on the waffle and the crepe was so tasty. Coffee qas great too. Service was friendly and staff was very hospitable. Definitely coming back here again.

While searching for Ozzie made gifts I was refered to Farmer and Sun by Lindols Macadamias.
I found so many local items from gift soaps to chocolate and nuts that I got half my shopping done.
I have eaten here many times and the food is great but pop in and support local and buy Australian wheer possible.

Love this coffee shop at the Southside Shopping Village. Delicious food, amazing variety. Best coffee in town. Great customer service. Have a look at the eclectic collection around the cafe, very interested. Take away or dine in.

Great Everything - Food - Coffee - Service. We love this cafe and eat here regularly. They have a huge selection and the gluten free options taste like real food. The Strawberry Madness is delicious and perfect for summer so is the iced coffee. A big thank you to the staff, keep up the good work.
