Delicious pasta. Both crab and prawn were 10/10. Didn’t have bookings but was kindly offered a seat outside and advised to take the risk of rain at our own discretion. Fast, friendly service and they even turned the outdoor heating on for us.

Service was friendly and good vibes overall. But the pasta, just amazing and was definitely the standout. It was so delicious I only wish I could have eaten more. Starters were also good we had the crudo which had a good balance of flavours. Wish I had space to eat more and will definitely be back!

Not just my favorite Italian restaurant, possibly my favorite restaurant in Australia. After the ravioli, I was stressed out, desperately trying to find fault or even just minute imperfection in the whole dining experience. To my horror, I found none. I really hope I can find a restaurant that can top this anywhere else in the world, but I suspect chance is exceedingly slim.

New fear: what do you do with your life after having tasted the best food, with the best company, in the best eat-out experience in your existence.

Had the pleasure of dining at Ragazzi on Saturday afternoon. The food was incredibly delicious. Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Sydney lately! Will visit again soon!

Absolutely banging! Had nduja croquettes, the prawn pasta with a tomato base (favourite dish I’ve had in Sydney) and I can’t remember the desserts name but it was GOOD. I don’t know much about wine except I like drinking it, luckily they had a service where they look at what you’ve ordered and serve you four wines based on that/what you like! Loved it the staff were so nice they even lent me a power bank for my dying phone! Coming back someday.

One of Sydney’s BEST, if not the number one, pasta joint. I’ve been here four times now. And I’ll have any excuse to take that number to five. It is incredible.

The pasta flavours are so simple yet feel so complex. Every dish I’ve ever had here, and each time I’ve tried something new (because you really do want to eat everything on the menu), have been perfectly cooked, seasoned and served. Plus, the best pistachio ice cream I’ve had (and I hate pistachio ice cream). I crave everything about this place.

Love Pellegrino’s, and Alberto’s is my local, but Ragazzi is where my heart is.

RAGAZZI REVIEW

We were greeted by friendly staff as we entered the restaurant and offered water right away which made us feel very welcomed. The lighting and interior design was great and modern. The food from the very beginning was absolutely phenomenal. We had several starters including the scallops, kingfish and croquette but the tartare was a complete standout for us! The mains were also very good. The only thing I could fault was the blunt attitude we received from the male staff. We ordered 2 mains and received our first pasta. We waited 20-25mins for the next one and it was not being sent out. As we asked the staff, he responded very sharply to us and told us to finish our dish before the next one comes out. We found this quite distasteful. Firstly, if the meals come out one after the other, this should of been communicated to us, not for us to wait and made our dish cold….. we continued to ask for the rest of the meal to come out to only realise he has forgotten to put through one of our sides (despite him verbally repeating it on our order). When it came to dessert he was extra nice to us by giving a candle and congratulating us on our anniversary but the initial incident already hindered our mood. Overall the food, ambience and restaurant was amazing, we would come back

Let’s begin, We were recommended ragazzi this little gem, Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint, We went at around 1:15pm this afternoon, we were welcomed from the moment we Entered, the atmosphere was fantastic, It was clean and cosy. The service from the staff was amazing. We won’t too sure how or what to order, as this was a first for us, and the team said not to worry they would look after us☺, they asked if we had any allergies or any dietary requirements as we did, Let me tell you what they recommended was amazing The food was unbelievably great. A big thank you to Laura and the staff🙏, from start to finish this experience was amazing 😊

Was a last minute find and felt like pasta so was hoping we could get a table and we did. When we arrived the place was full, but lucky for us a table opened when we arrived.

We sat outside and the waitress was very helpful in helping us set up and serve us.

We ordered the following,
- Casarecce, Maremma duck, PX, rosemary, was cooked to perfection and very flavourful.
- Ravioli alla norma, eggplant, tomato, basil, salted ricotta probably on the smaller side portion wise.
- Mafaldine, prawn, kombu butter, tomato was well and very tasty, probably the best dish out of the 3.

Definitely worth while trying again as they change the menu regularly, because the pasta was cooked perfectly and the worth trying other dishes. Reasonably priced too for the area and wines were good too.

We had a great time at Ragazzi. This is my second visit and with an ever-changing menu, there’s variety food to try with the chefs recommendation. We enjoyed the beef tartare and eggplant ravioli.

What stands out for me? atmosphere and service.

The music and intimate seating and decor take you somewhere else for the evening! And I loved sharing a few words of Italian with the waiters who were very attentive and pro. Thanks!

This is the best pasta I've ever tasted. Period.

We ordered the nduja and mozzarella croquettes and the beef tartare for entrees. Both were delicious but the tartare was a real highlight.

As for the pastas, all four of them were superb. My favourite was the prawn mafaldine, but all of the pastas were so flavoursome and the quality was another level altogether compared to other pastas I've tried previously.

You honestly can't go wrong with any of the dishes.

The service was wonderful as well.

We'll definitely be back!!

I discovered a quite nice Italian restaurant. It seems like the menu changes slightly every day, and they have a wide variety of wines. While it's not very accessible, it's not difficult to find. The inside is a bit noisy, so I chose to sit outside.

My go to place in the CBD for Italian with flair. Excellent wine list by the glass, Italian of course, prompt yet discreet service, buzzy vibe and of course the food, OMG. The staple Cacio e Pepe has a mild sting in the tail, the creamy butter accompanying the anchovy on sourdough is lustrous, and the duck ragout is next level. Rarely get to desserts but am sure they would be fabulous too. Book early, it’s popular.

This place definitely lived up to the hype! We did the feed me menu and the food was sensational - stand outs being the beef tartare and the duck ragu. Don't underestimate the eggplant ravioli either though.

The service by our waiter Luka was phenomenal. He went above and beyond and even chose us the most delicious bottle of Italian red.

The only criticism I have was being a smaller venue the tables were quite close together and we could hear everything the man next to us was talking about so I do feel like my attention was pulled away from our conversation.

Initially Ragazzi was booked out. However, my details were taken and was promptly notified a spot was available at the bar. Service was pleasant and energetic. Pasta and wine was delicious. Always a pleasure to dine here.

It’s the best Italian in town and probably one of the best italian restaurants in Oceania and Asia. You start ordering something and you can’t stop trying every other dish, amazing. Staff is nice and atmosphere is unique.
Best cacio e pepe!

BEST PASTA IN TOWN. 🍝
The squid ink pasta was to die for, gives you the perfect hit of umami with the uni butter. We couldn’t finish it so we took it home and guess what, IT TASTED EVER BETTER WHEN ITS COLD.
The prawn mafaldine was fresh and juicy with a perfect balance of sweet and sour and savoury.
The lamb ragu one was the ultimate heartwarming comfort food. Perfect to eat next to the fireplace with a blanket.
Saw a few reviews saying that service was slow and horrible but everyone was sweet and super friendly during our visit. They did miss one appetiser but everything else was lovely!

CAN’T WAIT TO BE BACK!
