Bli Bli House Riverside Retreat

Had a great time. It is just nice to relax... The rooms were great and the service was really good too. If you want to walk around out near the river probably best to get some insect repellent... The free sweets and mini bar are a nice touch. Breakfast and high tea was also really good. We watched a movie in the theatre room and it felt like we were the only ones there.

On-site manager was lovely and friendly.
The room was spacious for 2 people, and the rooms have a small verandah, which looks out to the river, which is quite peaceful.
Our breakfast was sent to our room also at a time we requested.
Will definitely go back great for a weekend away from the city.

Absolutely perfect place to relax for our anniversary. Everything has been done with thought and care, from the bath salts by the spa to the jug of milk in the fridge and box of welcome chocolates, completed with fluffy robe and slippers. The attention to detail in the decor is exceptional. The venue retains its heritage charm, while providing the modern comforts such as pod coffee machine, microwave and DVD player all discreetly tucked away in the room. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of variety and served in the ambiance of the grand traditional dining room. The hosts have perfected their role, being friendly and hospitable while allowing absolute privacy to their guests. My only regret is not allowing more time to enjoy the room and explore the surrounding grounds.
As a last get away before our first baby arrives in 5 weeks, our stay here went above and beyond all expectations.

Just spent 2 nights here and can highly recommend. The house is amazing and is a delightful place to stay, with welcoming hosts. The Victorian decor is tastefully done and takes you back to days of old. The only disappointment was having to leave.

Great location too being so close to everything the sunny coast has to offer but tucked away enough from the busy areas

We had such a wonderful stay in this amazing retreat. The rooms were such a delight, a taste of luxury and peace by the river. Highly recommend if you are looking for a romantic get-a-way. We will be coming back for another longer break to explore some more of the Sunshine Coast.

We had the very good fortune to find Bli Bli House Riverside Retreat online and stayed spontaneously overnight in July 2022. Wow ! What a wonderful experience it was. A warm welcome from Meryl and consummate attention paid to every detail. An absolutely beautiful location on the riverside adds additional joy to a fantastic stay. Wonderful morning breakfast brought to our room and the broader amenities were well beyond our expectation. Comfy warm bed, and room the amenities, large outside balcony and space are outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have booked already for a future weekend stay and looking forward to it. Highly recommended.

My daughter got married at Bli Bli House on the weekend and the venue was incredible. The lawns and garden were well maintained and the owners made us feel right at home. I will definitely be going back for a quick getaway. Thank you to our hosts Phil and Merryl for being so accommodating! Oh, did I mention the food was excellent.

A truly restful and tranquil retreat that is an excellent choice for a weekend to recharge and refresh. The beautifully appointed rooms and food all add to the whole package. The manicured grounds are a delight to wander around while enjoying the peaceful water views.

Bli Bli House exceeds all expectations in every way. The attention to detail from the minute you step into the foyer, to the beautiful gardens and surrounds, is paramount. The hosts, Phil and Merryl, go out of their way to make you feel at home and the buffet breakfast is second to none. This is a must-stay get away for a top relaxation destination.

We love the every little touch in the house. The owner is very friendly and provide us lots of complimentary snacks. Worthy every dollars we spent for this room. We stay in the Victoria suite, very spacious and great spa too.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Excellent food, the rooms are exquisite and a very relaxing aesthetic. The owners are very welcoming and hospitable.

What can I say ??? Perfection seems to cover it.
This was our second trip away to this beautiful place and it certainly won’t be our last.
My wife and myself had a 2 night getaway to unwind after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and this was certainly what we got.

The setting is beautiful, river views, nice gardens and a riverside boardwalk to take in.

Inside is to die for, A Victorian building with all the decor and nothing missed, the feeling of the rooms were perfect with 4 post bed, air conditioning and fireplace heater should you require it. Beautiful furniture and a very comfortable feel.
We opted to have dinner on our first night and the food did not disappoint, the service was on point and the presentation and quality of food was of very high restaurant quality.
We also opened for afternoon tea the following day and again, the presentation and the ambiance was perfect.

I would whole heartedly recommend a visit to any couple wishing to have a nice break away and we will certainly be back to se Phil and Merryl in the near future.

This place is just magical! Our entire experience was amazing and seamless. This is the perfect spot for couples or singles to unwind, relax and be treated to such luxury and beauty. Our suite balcony looked out on to the river. The room was decorated so beautifully and had such nice touches including toothpaste (which we forgot!) and the softest robes I've ever worn. The owners provided such wonderful service and the breakfast was very tasty. The whole house and property is stunning and we also really enjoyed the spa bath. The bed and fireplace were great too! So many things to rave about. Highly recommend staying here. It is in a great location between the beaches and hinterland too. We will definitely come back!

Chose this place for our anniversary, because it had a lovely victorian-esque theme that my partner loved. Definitely lived up to expectations, was quiet, private despite rooms being so close, and service was excellent, and at our own volition. Was looking forward to in house dinner and breakfast, but dinner was off the menu due to health issues the lovely hostess had. The breakfast we ordered for the morning consisted of: crepes, fruit salad, bacon and fried tomatoes, yogurt, juice, pastries, tea and coffee. And was cooked and presented perfectly and delivered straight to our door. We ate out on the verandah overlooking the river, food was excellent and so was the view. Spent too much time in the spa, came out a little cooked, nothing a little rest on the comfy bed couldn't fix! Overall will definitely do again sooner rather than later, maybe even next anniversary.

My husband and I had our wedding here and it was absolutely incredible! The venue was so stunning and green, the owners - Phil and Merryl were both so accommodating and the food was superb!

If you're looking to step back in time to a romantic Victorian era this is it! We spent a week at BliBli house and were thoroughly spoilt with beautiful breakfasts delivered every day and luxurious surrounds. So many lovely extra touches provided by hosts Phil and Meryl. Stunning evening sunsets and sumptuous private rooms. Loved every minute of our stay and highly recommend this gorgeous B & B for something different and wonderful to do.

What a wonderful stay!! Merryl was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The king bed room we stayed was superb, clean and spacious. The breakfast was made to our preferences and delivered to our door. We enjoyed our warm breakfast at the balcony overlooking the peaceful creek. We definitely will be back!!
