The rooms were delightful & cozy and I will be calling on them again whenever I need to be back in the area. Just a shame I didn't get to use the onsite pool. Thank you!

Comfy beds, crisp, white linen, friendly service, AC, well located with a 15min walk to cafes and the "Fedy" pub. 5 min drive to Tosha Falls. Nice and quiet as rooms nestled in the lovely gardens behind the residence. Clean, refreshing pool too for a dip before dinner. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to stay and relax whilst exploring the delightful surounds of Lismore to Byron Lennox Head to Ballina by back roads or highways.Discover the secrets scenery again from the comfort of Settler's.Well done Brenton and Marion love that pool under the stars will stay again for sure cheers chris and Rosie....Sydney April 2024

Clean peaceful room made up each day, with a fully stocked bar fridge..

Only stayed one night but was very surprised by this little motel. Staff were lovely, room/bathroom very clean, bed comfy and very reasonably priced bar snacks/drinks. I highly recommend staying.

Very tidy rooms, not overcrowded, great shower. There was a small pool that we didn't have a chance to swim in due to it only being a overnight stop on our way up the coast, but appeared clean and well maintained. Very friendly service, the owners (and their puppy) were just lovely

This beautiful motel was absolutely amazing! The owner went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The room was super clean, comfy, cute and best of all … quiet! The rooms are set back from the road (quiet!) and come complete with little heart jars of milk in the mini fridge - it’s the little things that make this place so special. Very reasonable prices - a bargain secret find actually - with really nice manicured grounds and quirky old Australia type things ie little windmills and carts around the grounds. It had such a nice feel and is a rare gem to find something so nice and affordable. The room also had a really nice smell - like fresh flowers!
Thank you for making this stay so nice for my husband and I at short notice for a wedding. The owner was so nice and friendly and accommodating. You can tell she has enormous pride in her motel - it shows by how much love she gives the rooms and her guests.

This is a brilliant place to stay. The rooms are clean and smell really nice when you go in. The grounds are lovely, too. Check in and out was easy and they have a mini snack bar in the room that is very reasonably priced, unlike the extortionate rates I've paid at other hotels/motels. Staff were also awesome. I'll be staying here every time I come up that way from now on.

We were travelling for work - Vault Moving and Storage
Upon arrival they were extremely accommodating, They organised a room with very short notice
We stay at many different motels across Australia with our Company and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of our rooms, the products in the room, the facilities, the decor felt very homely, the beds were very comfortable every detail down to very decent coffee made this stay an extremely pleasurable one.
There are many overpriced and substandard hotel/motels out there this is one of the good ones
Highly recommended you won’t be disappointed by staying here.

Great little hotel, nice quiet location. There is lots of parking for cars inside and a few trucks can park on the road.

Like the settlers look around the hotel. There is a pool for the hot summer's day.

Nice clean place. The lady who was in reception was lovely. We had work vehicles with trailers and she let us park on the nice lawn so we could leave early in the morning

A very friendly atmosphere. Rooms are very clean with some beautiful little touches. Property is well maintained with stunning gardens. Will absolutely be back!

A very pleasant 3 nights spent with my son his wife and 4 year old granddaughter, Sharon was welcoming on the phone and very welcoming on our arrival providing my little granddaughter with a bag of colouring in and stickers. The rooms were very comfortable and clean linen each day. Very quiet thoroughly recommend the few klms off the highway to anyone and especially the little gnomes were a wonderful hit with a 4 year old. Thank you Sharon for everything

This is an excellent motel. Nothing flash but comfortable and clean.
We spent two days there on October 25 and 26 while attending a wedding. The best features of the motel were:
Cleanliness
Reasonably comfortable queen bed
Excellent shower and hot water on demand
Our towels were replaced for the second day without having to ask. The proprietor says they believe guests are entitled to the same standard on subsequent days of accommodation as the first day when booking in.
Addition milk was available from the office.
The motel operator was responsive and courteous.
There was a mix up with the bill, We discovered when reviewing our credit card payments we had been charged twice but we believe this was a genuine mistake that was readily corrected.

Overall we are giving the motel five stars for its class and recommend it to future travellers as value for money.

A beautiful place to stay. Very comfortable and clean rooms with great amenities. Michelle was so lovely and accommodating when a few unexpected circumstances popped up during my stay. Definitely recommend!

Awesome stay. Very clean, comfortable bed, friendly and helpful manager. Lovely gardens and even a Bbq kit for the Bbq. Home away from home. Loved it.
