New Leaf Cafe Bairnsdale

Little tucked away cafe inside the Dhalsens garden centre.
We tried the big brekky and pancakes with berry compote which were really nice. So glad we tried this cafe and you should try it too if you’re in Bairnsdale :)
They also have cakes and some other grab and go food options which seems tasty 😋
Will definitely be back.

Brilliant place for a meal. We are driving through and stopped for breakfast. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend.

Tucked away next to the nursery and household giftware, this cafe is a must visit. Value for money, the food is stylish yet reminiscent of a hearty, home cooked meal. While table service isn’t offered, the staff are lovely and we always have had a positive experience. Looking forward to visiting again.

Best casual eatery in Bairnsdale within the Dahlsen's nursery and homewears complex. Always busy with a good selection of food on offer. Great to sit outside if you can get a seat.

The cafe is attached to the garden centre. You can sit outside next to the plants if you choose to. I went here for breakfast with my partner and were pleasantly surprised. It's a bit hidden away from the main street but definitely a gem. Big brekkie and the ricotta pancakes were delicious!! Highly recommended.

Nice cafe at Bairnsdale. Nice atmosphere inside the clinic. Food was great with large portions.

We just had Jacqui and her team at new leaf cater our wedding on the weekend.
she blew our expectations out of the water. the food was exceptional, the quality, the presentation, the service. 10/10. everyone was asking about who we had catering and telling us it was some of the best food they have ever had at a wedding.
jacqui was a dream to work with organising what we wanted.
if you're looking for an incredible feed at your next event don't look anywhere else.

Great stop over for a hearty breakfast- highly recommend the Scone breakfast. Lovely atmosphere and perfect coffee.

Their crepes are delicious (also gf) the salad is always nice as well, definitely recommend.

This amazing cafe was suggested to us by a nice lady at Information centre in Bairnsdale on our one day visit. as we asked them to recommend a nice cafe that's kids friendly. it was spot on .... it is located sort of next to or part of a nursery/ gift shop. the outdoor sitting of the cafe was part of the nursery with a nice view of pots and plants. the gift shop next to it was amazing.
the quality of coffee, carrot cake and the scone was amazing. the service was fast considering the place was super busy. the price was great, I was shocked with comparing the price of sweet and coffee in a cafe in Melbourne and here in Bairnsdale.... very reasonable. so glad we tried the place. recommend the place.

New Leaf is my favourite cafe in the area, always love coming back.

The outside dining area is superb being in the garden centre, staff are always friendly and the food is always great. Decent sized servings for a good price instead of tiny, expensive meals.
The food is also simple and honest instead of going overboard with exotic ingredients, which is why it’s a favourite for me.

Hidden gem inside/abutting the garden centre. Solid coffee. Excellent range of breakfast from old fashioned to Asian/fusion. Prices very reasonable. Lovely atmosphere. Fresh country quality proceduce used, clearly. Reasonable service.

Very, very decent prices for what you're getting. Coffee's good (I'm from Melbourne lol) and it's attached to a nursery with lovely plants and decor. What's not to love?

I ordered a egg and bacon sandwich to take away, I added extra options and it was the best egg and bacon I've ever had. The eggs were cooked perfectly and still runny by the time i picked it up. Highly recommend New Leaf Cafe 😁

Great stop over for the long drive. Nachos and chowder were delicious! Most of it made freshly on site and plenty of GF options. Family friendly and a nice shop attached to it.

Excellent food, teamed with good service with a smile. Great value for money.
Indoor and outdoor seating amongst the nursery creates a nice atmosphere.
