It was good service, helped me look at individual items

The elderly sales assistant (or could be the same manager that most of the reviews here are mentioning) wasn’t really pleasant… Rude and full of attitude. Just thought to give this an honest review, to my surprise, a lot of reviews here are finding the staff really rude. I was about to purchase but changed my mind. She questioned me on why I have to pick the one at the bottom and not the one on the top shelf.. Why question it, when I just wanted the one not being so exposed and dusty??? Don’t I have the right to pick which one I want to purchase?? Well, I am not coming back to this shop.. they need friendlier staff to get this business going.

Absolutely a horrible experience, from sales assistant’s attitude, to the service and the signs.
Sales signs are misleading, lack of proper /explanations from the shop assistance, absolutely not gonna put my foot in that store again!
Paid for something that had a misleading sale sign on it, ended up not being on sale, and then I was hit with oh they’re non refundable! Actually EVERYTHING in the store is non refundable.
What a scam!

Absolutely appalled by the service I received from the store manager! She was incredibly rude and has no respect for her customers. I came in to fix an error made by her previously- where she offered additional items at a reduced price based on the purchase I was buying at the time. However looking at the receipt I was charged full price for the items. When explaining this to the manager, she blamed me and asked why I bought them in the first place, threatening to call security. It is absolutely disgusting that a customer would be treated in this way, when they have done no wrong. 'My House' you really need to look into your staff hiring and your customer service policies!

DISGUSTING! SOMEONE PLEASE FIRE DEBORAH, THE STORE MANAGER!

Went on a day's trip that was a 2 hour drive and happened to see a platter that I loved and purchased around closing time. When I got home and opened it, it was chipped. The closest MY HOUSE store which sells the product is in Castle Hill and as part of MY HOUSE policy, exchanges are allowed on broken products in any store.

I called and Deborah answered and immediately refused to exchange it saying go back to the original store. I told her that as part of MY HOUSE store policy I am allowed to exchange it at any store and before cutting me off, listen to why I need to exchange it at yours. She said, go to any other store as I don't have it in stock. I said, hang on, you don't even know what I want to exchange. Stop, listen and stop brushing me off. She then said, you are too slow at talking and shut the phone in my face.

I called the original store that I purchased it from and explained what happened. They were shocked and said that Deborah had done the wrong thing which was nothing new as many customers have complained about her before and she was not following the MY HOUSE store policy.

Is anyone at head office reading these Google Reviews? She is an embarrassment to your company. Do us all a favour and fire her

the store manager was EXTREMELY rude. i came into the store to apply for a job and she made me feel less of myself.

I bought an European Linen quilt set a week ago. I pre washed as per instructions. When I hanged it I saw that the pillowcases were sewn completely wrong, instead of a rectangle it was a paralegram. Also the King cover measured 230 x 202 instead of 245 x 210. I immediately emailed the customer service, and only received an automated response. I have since emailed 3 more times without any response. I paid a lot of money for it and to not even get a response is unacceptable. I need to add, the staff at Castle Hill was helpful, but the Customer Service online desk is totally useless in not even answering my query. Castle Hill is quite far from me, so I can't just get there to try and sort it out and that's why I relied on the customer service contact on the web. But alas... No service!

I received worst kind of customer service EVER!! I explained that I bought the electric blanket three month ago and stoped working. The shop staff was repeatedly saying “You’ve been using it for three month!” and she didn’t replace it even though she knew it was 12 month warranty!! Unbelievably rude attitude and it’s no way near “customer service” but it was like I was talking to a difficult neighbor. They ‘re normally friendly and helpful but this particular lady was unbelievable.

The lady was very rude and snobby, she acted like serving us was such an inconvenience, when all she did was point out some bed sheets and say "thats all we've got". She made rude remarks like "If you want to put your head where everyones touched it and put their heads on it, then sure" sarcastically when we asked if we could lay our heads on a pillow to try it out. When she could have just politely suggested it wouldn't be very clean. Acted very impatient when we were trying to decide whether to get it or not, and naggingly asked us what we had decided. This caused us to make a rushed decision and buy the things we looked at.
After realising we didn't want them, we called and asked if we could return them and they said there are no returns and exchanges are only allowed within 14 days, which the lady who served us didn't even explain to us. We received the same blatant rudeness on the phone and will NEVER go to this store again!

Bad customer service. Was going to purchase either x1 or x2 dinner sets, 1 was a display one on sale so was wanting to make sure that all pieces were in the box and ok or I would have got 2 of the other one. Was waiting 2nd in line and a guy staff member knew I was there and waiting for at least 5 mins, wouldn't help me and then as soon as another lady walked into the store he went to help her straight away. Are people are way too judgemental, I get this a few times in different shops.
