Great little take away nestled in Cessnock , we bought fish and chips cooked to perfection , lightly battered fish and old school hand cut chips , off street carpark , outdoor seating and disabled entrance , full takeout menu , lollies and drinks available , also a great family park just up the road ( one minute drive)

nothing compares to jen’s. when they closed i tried another takeaway shop but it wasn’t the same. jen’s takeaway is the best takeaway we’ve been to, and the staff are incredibly friendly and amazing at what they do. chips + seafood basket 10/10

One of the best chicken snitty burgers I've had. Ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and the chips appear home cut and fresh. Good value for money. As someone who has a large appetite and eats big servings, I left today full and very satisfied. Staff were polite and courteous. Will definitely be back

Ordered chips at every place in Cessnock area, jens is so far the best and incredible chi pos, scollops and everything, everywhere else has been garbage to a point i swore off hot chips forever but I'll go back here, and never anywhere else, most places have been so bad our chooks got the chips, because they werw inedible, these chips are incredible.

The family and I had lunch here today the food was fantastic once again. My husband said the works burger was one of the best he has had in along. time. The food was not over priced and the chips portion size was great. Overall was a pleasent experience.

I think it's the best Fish & Chip shop in Cessnock. Value for money, Pluto pups, Scallops and fish are divine.

Best chips within a 2 hour drive of Newcastle. If you like traditional hand cut chips like you get in the UK this is the place. We go here weekly and we're an hour away. Great value too.

Best cooked chips and fast food, lovely friendly staff. Has secure parking off Wollombi Road. If you have an army to feed, you've found the place to satisfy that.

Polite staff, good serving sizes, good prices, only downside is the bread is always sold out 😪

Other than that, best chips in town! 👌
