Beyond Ballooning Hunter Valley

One word sums up my experience. Magic!!! The crew were efficient, friendly and organised. The safety briefing and procedures impeccable.

Nathan our pilot has many years of experience and not once did I have any concerns or fears.

Do yourself a favour if you have never been hot air ballooning there is no better place to try it!!!

Highly Recommended!! Our pilot Steve he was very professional and entertaining. He made sure our trip was enjoyable. The sunrise view was amazing, the whole flight was very safe and the landing was super smooth. Breakfast at Rydges was one of the best buffets I have ever had especially the Apple & caramel muffins with champagne on top. Photos are free of cost too. I would definitely recommend flying with them.

I went hot air ballooning for my birthday and it was a great experience! Nathan was our pilot who was so friendly and patient. He took the time to explain the logistics of the balloon and also throughout the flight provided us with some insights into wineries. Breath taking views and probably is best to go during spring/summer! We stayed at Rydges and thats where the meeting point was. Be ready to have an early morning as need to leave the hotel by 4:30am! We arrived back for breakfast after the flight around 7am. Buffet breakfast with great options and champagne also was available.
Definitely something that everyone should try once as it is memorable and totally worth it!

The most spectacular experience ever!! Blake, Sam and the team were absolute professionals, making us all feel very safe and secure before, during and after the balloon ride. The ride itself was gorgeous - so smooth, and clearly run by experienced pilots. The breakfast afterwards at Rydges Resort was incredible. A proper intercontinental buffet, with sparkling wine poured for us by our pilot, Blake, himself! Thank you so much for such a fantastic morning and a great memory my family and I will share forever :)

I had an exceptional experience, feeling entirely safe throughout the flight. The landing was remarkably smooth, attesting to the pilot's extensive experience. Before the flight, thorough briefings were given to ensure that everyone had ample knowledge and was mentally prepared for any potential rough landings, considering the unpredictable nature of air conditions during landing. Few things to keep in mind that you can’t move around the basket as you will have a dedicated space and you just have to stand there, basket is divided into multiple compartments and you cannot move around, there will be around 20 to 21 more ppl with you and you will have limited space, you must arrive on time to attend the mandatory briefing else if you are late then you will miss the flight and also will not get a refund. If coming from Sydney make sure to leave on time and keep 20 mins of buffer time. I highly recommend this service, and the complimentary buffet breakfast, featuring both vegetarian and vegan options, was equally impressive. Overall experience 10/10

We have to get up super super early in the morning. I was quite nervous about hot air balloon as this is my first experience. The staff were quite supportive and professional and guided us through the process. When we were in the air, the view was super nice and all the fear were gone. The landing was quite smooth. After that, we went to a nice buffet together. Overall, great experience.

Our good looking pilot Danny toured us around. The flight was smooth and amazing 🥰 thanks to a good weather, it gave us a glorious view of the sunrise. I will definitely recommend you guys to my families and friends when they come over to the Hunter Valley (will even put it up in our YouTube channel). I think it should be a prerequisite to have this hot air ballooning experience as part of being in the Hunter Valley ❤❤ thank you guys for giving my family and I a very memorable experience - a late 50th gift for myself now that I'm 51 but it's still something that we will never forget.... Amazing ❤❤❤

If you’re looking to spice up your Hunter Valley tour then Beyond Ballooning should be your first stop. We were in excellent hands with Nathan our pilot and Les on ground, who made our experience truly memorable. Friendly and insightful, Nathan navigated us through a beautiful sunrise and at 3000 feet he managed to capture the moment my partner proposed. Morning mimosas and a delicious breakfast awaited us when we landed - a simply unforgettable adventure!

What an amazing experience! The best sunrise I have witnessed to date. The people from Beyond Ballooning were very friendly and professional. Our pilot Blake was great with good sense of humour! He was very knowledgeable. After the flight we had breakfast @Rydges Lovedale which was splendid with a glass of sparkling! All this included in the booking and arranged by the company! It was worth the $$ I was glad to get some pictures clicked during the flight which were also part of the package!

It was such a great flight! Our pilot Blake clearly loves what he does and ensured that we enjoyed every second of the flight. From arrival to departure, everything was thoroughly planned and enjoyable! And it was so refreshing that the photos taken by the crew were included in the flight and not something that they added on at a cost.
And the breakfast was AMAZING!! Thankyou very much - would definitely recommend

Really hard to wake up so early because we drove from Sydney. Better to stay a night before experience at Rydges.

Our pilot "Blake" was extremely proficient and knowledgeable. He has an amazing sense of humour. From take-off to a superb soft landing in one of Australia's biggest balloons, he maneuvered us diligently above the clouds and we saw magnificent vistas below.

The safety standards and equipment are unprecedented - safety was front of mind at all times.

Amazing photos were taken of the experience - which you have unlimited access to online.

My husband and I also had the champagne buffet breakfast at Ridge's Resort - there was an amazing variety and selection of foods and the quality was excellent; which included barista-made coffee.

I would highly recommend anyone try this experience. Its a once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoy.

Awesome experience and the team were lovely! The whole day was great and ran on time, we got to enjoy the spectacular views, even with the low cloud they were still enjoyable. Back to the Crown Plaza for a buffet breakfast which was nice. Even got to witness a surprise proposal 💗

We had a great and safe flying experience with Beyond Ballooning. They were very organized, accommodating and quite informative. We loved the little induction class, the team work of packing away the balloon after landing 🎈and some memorable pics 📸 to take home.The flying experience of course was soooooo AMAZING!!!!
