Wonderful Stay at a Charming Retreat in Hunter Valley

During our stay at this lovely retreat, we had a fantastic time. The three-bedroom villa was perfect for us, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the swimming facilities and water park. The beds were cozy, and the pillows exceptionally soft. Our special thanks go to Ashley at reception for making our stay so memorable. We are truly grateful for the lovely service provided by Ashley. We highly recommend this hidden gem in the Hunter Valley.

The place is just amazing and the staff are first class. I had a tiny little issue and the effort the staff went to to have it resolved was over and above. I would highly recommend the Rydges to anyone wanting to base themselves in the middle of the Hunter Valley wine region.

We enjoyed the serenity in the east village, the buffet which had a lot of vegan options, the bar and grills pizza was delicious too.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities as we were only there for 1 night which means we will have to come back for a longer stay.
Lastly, we just want to do a shout out to Jasmine from reception for being polite, genuine, and smiling when serving us, she even remembered our room number!
No one else (other than another older female staff member from the buffet breakfast (which I didn't see her name) on 25th Feb that spoke to or smiled at us our whole stay.
It's people like them that, make us come back. Thank you!

What a great time we had Al other free stuff for the kids was a super bonus on our stay and then having the luxury of a adults only pool so you could relax really was great. Would be nice if there was a spa in the adults part as well. Staff were amazing.
The brewery tour was very informative but only goes for a few minutes not really worth $20 we thought we would get to o to the bottle shed and everything but it is a quick look in the vat and a talk and hen a tasting paddle which you can buy from the bar at anytime for $10.

So good that there is free face painting and Ballon twisting on certain days what a great thing.
The main pool is great but you need to go early if you want a chair. Love that they supply towels and the boys handing them out are so nice to have a chat to each day. I really recommend getting the hot air balloon package it is worth the 3am wake up. Your close to the chocolate factory and the wildlife park and the hunter valley gardens. We really enjoyed our stay there was so much to do within the resort.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. Service was prompt and friendly, facilities were great. Room service was good and buffet breakfast had a great selection of fresh food. Exceptional array of activities available for kids (we stayed in school holiday period). Loved the water park. We stayed in a villa which had all we needed. Only thing is the menu in the bar and grill could do with a refresh, but it was adequate.

Great resort hotel, particularly for those with younger families. There's so much to do with a great pool and kids water park, loads of family friendly activities each day in the holidays (including movie night). Lots of food and drink options, although I have to admit the buffet options for breakfast and dinner seemed quite expensive. Bonus is having Sydney Brewery on site. Rooms are comfortable and modern.

This place is great! Family friendly, large pool and water slides for the kids. Breakfast is the best I’ve been to so far. The staff are friendly the chefs make an amazing omlette the coffee was great ! Rooms were very clean and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel!

Attended Rydges to hold an event. Room/apartment needed a refresh. Space for Event was great and staff communication around this was very helpful and attentive. Golf pro aided in fitting the boys in for golf despite it being last minute. Grounds are lovely. Pool was a welcome at the end of the stay.

Awesome Resort....very family-friendly. Central location in the Hunter Valley wine region. Great golf facilities.

Very relaxing environment, excellent pools you can soak in all day or just order a drink from the restaurant right next to the pool. Plenty of activities within the resort. 3 days stay was far too short.

Great hotel and fantastic service. Booked through Luxury Escapes and was pleasantly impressed. Service was great. Special shout out to Carimma (sp?) who was serving snacks in the afternoon on arrival and who we saw all through the weekend. Her hospitality and friendliness was a great asset to the hotel and made it feel so much more homely. Phenomenal breakfast. Will be back for sure….

Room was fantastic, we had a self catered 3 bed house/apartment. Located close to so many amazing wineries and also home to a championship golf course and amazing facilities! Would definitely stay here again

One of the best holidays we had at the resort. Facilities are amazing and school activities are very enjoyable for my son. Very friendly staff.

Great acitivities for kids including movie night, train ride, ferris wheels and many more. Swimming pool and water activity is the highlight of the resort.

Delicious buffet food with varities of options.

Wow where do I start. What an amazing experience we had. Stayed with my family (2 kids) in a double queen room.

Rooms were clean, facilities were kid friendly with heaps of activities and located in a great spot close to all the main attractions of the hunter.

Pool is really good for kids and adults.

Hands down though was how good the staff were. Every member who worked there was soo friendly, catering and went above and beyond. My wife has coeliac and they truly made her experience memorable.

Biggest thank you is to Mel who was at the entrance and the red salt team (13/12) who just finished off our stay with a bang. Mel's quick thinking with helping surprise my wife with some friends visiting was beyond words. Thank you soo much Mel. You said you have only be there a short time but you made it look like you have been there for years. Truly deserve reward and recognition!.

Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone.

The staff was really friendly and the pool, Sydney Brewery, and breakfast were all great. However, the room was a bit old, and although it was a 3-bedroom room, the refrigerator was really small.

Such a pleasant stay at another Rydges. Keeping it close to the vibe of Hunter region, this resort offers activities and landscape to keep you engaging throughout the stay.

Resort is so close to many vineyards and d restaurants. Hunter valley gardens just 5 mins drive from here.

Love the comforting Mascot Frogs I received at checkout! Dinner at Bar & Grill was delicious and my bed was very comfortable.

Great resort with plenty of kiddie activities during the holiday period. Food selection is limited to cafe and buffet food otherwise it was really nice.
