A great convenience store with most everything you need. Coffee, slurpees, sandwiches, cold drinks, snacks and fuel. Open 24 hours. Staff are friendly. Aisles are a little narrow for wheelchair access, though.

A terrific petrol station & convenience store, to say the least! My mother goes there every day to get coffees and the staff are always friendly, nice, down-to-earth and I am simply so glad and grateful that they finally built a 7 Eleven in Cessnock because that Caltex Woolworths servo that's next to KFC on Wollombi Road, is simply that small that it's not funny and the idiots there aren't even open 24 hours a day. I really like this convenience store and I enjoy their slurpies and donuts!

If you love coffee, then it's really hit and miss. As a regular coffee drinker from here, in the afternoon coffee machine seems to be always clean. Very rarely at night time or early mornings is it clean. They do fill it and clean outside but don't flush causing coffee to be bitter. Easy tell tale, coffee cleaning is on screen, or the coffee doesn't run out smoothly and drips. Been in a few times when couldn't get coffee because there too lazy chatting on phone. Day time is the way to go

Metro Cessnock. Map shows correct location etc.. but google maps tells you it is 15 minutes to reach it when you are parked across the road from it at Cessnock vets That is via nsw petrol app when you hit directions and when you use Google maps itself directly. Its 100m to the roundabout and 100m back to the petrol station!!

2 days ago I bought milk and bread. The next morning opened and it was mouldy. Took it back and the owner said he didnt believe me & that I could have left it in the car. I said we buy lots of things here, why would I bring bread back in? He said even with a receipt he wouldn't change it. It left me quite upset.

I used to love this place, the owners are so lovely and polite, it went downhill when other staff started working there.
Well, I felt like an A hole today but I am never going back to Cessnock Seven 11 Again. A couple of days ago I got petrol from there, just so I could get cash out, I needed $120 cash out. I paid for petrol and said where is your ATM? He said all servos are taking them out and he doesn't have one anymore. So I said okay "I would like $120 cash out" and he said NO. Only $100 maximum. I said okay what if I buy something like a coffee and do two $50 lots? he said NO. So I wasted time there.
TODAY I needed $80 cash out, so I said to myself well at least I can get it out of 7 Eleven. So again I got petrol and a drink and walked in and said "petrol number 5 please and this drink and can I have $80 out. He said "NO" the limit is $50!!! I yelled and I said NO, you specifically told me that the limit was $100 two days ago! He said NO, $50 maximum. I said well never MIND! just pay for my petrol and drink so I tapped my card and walked out peed off.
HOWEVER, when I went to get into my car, I hear this loud voice over the speaker "YOU DID NOT PAY FOR YOUR PETROL AT NUMBER 5!!!" and everyone looked at me. Really mad now, I walked in and said I just paid you! he said NO, you didn't pay me for the petrol. I said, I TOLD YOU I WAS GETTING PETROL. and he said "NO, YOU DIDNT" I specifically said "number 5 and the drink"
Negative feedback for the man who was there at 4pm on March 8th.
Never AGAIN.

I am extremely appalled by the fact this store was "closed for cleaning" despite the fact numerous customers INCLUDING AN AMBULANCE required fuel at 12:30am. The paramedics even shined their red and blue lights indicating this could be an emergency fill up and yet the clerk provided no explanation regarding why we cannot fillup (mopping the floor IS NOT A REASONABLE EXCUSE). If the paramedics are required to get somewhere but suddenly ran out of fuel, this could be very serious to the patient's life. Plus the paramedics have probably worked tirelessly with the current natural disasters and now they have to find somewhere else to fill up. This requires deep explanation in my opinion.
