De Bortoli Wines, Hunter Valley

What an exquisite experience. My Fiancée and I did a delicious wine tasting and we had such a lovely time. Courtney was very accommodating, kind and truly made our visit extra special. We highly recommend her at De Bortoli, and their wines are absolutely divine.

We visited De Bortoli twice , in April & the recent visit in August 13th . The cellar door was big and opened with more products for selling. The staff here were always helpful & providing good service. The wines were good with variety of options. We walked in at close to 5pm and they served us very well with asking what wines we would like to try. The testing fee is only $5 pp and it’s waived if you purchase the wines . I recommend this vineyard if you love sweet wine , we bought the black noble and it was amazing. I also recommend the “chill bill” if you love sparkling red. We really like 1628 Durif red wine .

Amazing experience. Roberto made the wine taste such a great experience, teaching us how to proper tasting the wine, suggesting some great wines: excellent customer service. We bought some wines to bring home. Super recommended ✨👌

Really enjoyed our wine tasting at De Bortoli with the friendly, bubbly and knowledgeable Louise. We got to sample fresh prawns and oysters with our wine tasting and the whole experience was absolutely amazing. We loved that there was such a huge variety and also some absolute bargains. The most competitively priced placed to buy your olives, cheese platters and other delicacies. Thanks Louise for such a great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to De Bortoli Wines. Loved the artwork on all the barrels inside the cellar door.
The wine tasting experience was made extra special by our very knowledgeable and friendly server Louise M. Her suggestions of which food and how to cook a dish then pair with the perfect De Bortoli wine was exceptional. She kept us laughing. Louise really made our visit and day special. She is certainly an asset to the company.

Amazing service. One on one quality and education on each wine. Definitely the best in the Hunter. A down to earth feel and friendly staff which makes you feel comfortable. The seafood was amazing and fresh absolutely insane. Worth the visit

Visited on Monday morning, the tasting room is very nice, it's decorated with beautiful artwork on barrels. I was assisted by a knowledgeable lady.

The winery also has a section at the back selling wines at 72 dollars for 12 bottles. What a bargain! Haven't tried them yet, but I trust De Bortoli wines quality.

A fantastic wine tasting with Louise. We had a family reunion and could not have picked a better place for a lunchtime wine tasting with gorgeous platters of food. Louise was very knowledgeable and such a lovely person who made our experience even better!!

First time we've been here and picked the wettest day of 2022.

What a wonderful experience! We visited on a Thursday and tasted some wines. Courtney was so courteous and friendly. We ended up buying about a dozen bottles of mixed wines, including some lovely spritzy moscatos.
Gary was very informative, providing more info about the wines we purchased, when paying for the wines and gave us info on re-ordering. Great pricing on many of the wines.
Thanks again to Courtney & Gary. We agree with another review, this place is not pretentious, in fact, quite the opposite.
Do yourself a favour and visit this winery.

We stopped in for a wine tasting experience. We were served by Garry, he was great and gave a detailed overview to the wines that we were tasting.

He explained the process and the history of the vineyard which was great. All the wines we tried were super tasty.

Gary was such a lovely wine tasting host! We had such a pleasant experience hearing from him and he tailored recommendations to us while sharing the history of De Bortoli Wines.

We love our sweet wines and it was so refreshing to try the Vinoque Moscato - the best Moscato we’ve ever had!!

My girlfriend and I spent hours here and loved the atmosphere and all the staff were fantastic. A very enjoyable experience and loved talking all things Liverpool with Robert. Definitely coming back next time!

My partner and I did a walk in tasting at de bortoli wines and it did not disappoint! Louise did our tasting and she was amazing. So knowledge, friendly and amazing customer service. We were pleasantly surprised with the fantastic value for money when we purchased a case of wine. A must visit in Hunter valley!! Thank you guys.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of the Hunter Valley, my 2nd stop of the morning was here after visiting De Bortoli in the Yarra Valley a couple of months ago with fond memories was looking to reacquaint myself. George was a fantastic host passionate about the wines and was a lovely experience.

On top of the wine…Great fresh juicy oysters from the farmer himself. Parents as well that are peeled and deveined.

Family owned, friendly service, free wine tasting 🍷 some amazing art work on barrels! Excellent selections, worth a visit 👍🍻
