Muse Restaurant

We went to Muse Restaurant for dinner last night (March 5th) to celebrate my birthday. It was absolutely fantastic!

The food was amazing, the wine list was great and the aesthetic was beautiful. The service blew us away, the staff were extremely experienced and great at what they do!

Thanks you so much to all the staff, you made our experience an unforgettable one! What a special birthday 😊

My Wife and I had dinner here to celebrate a Birthday, it was fantastic.

From start to finish the service was excellent, we felt like rockstars, the vibe was relaxed and yet classy. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive

The food was wonderful, great flavors and with a sense of fun, we had the wine pairing and it was delicious

The meal took a few hours, but it did not feel like it took too long. Taxi’s are sometimes hard to get, and the venue arranged to drive us back to their accommodation in their Van.

I would come back for another ‘date night’

We booked this restaurant two nights ago for my partners birthday. From arriving at the restaurant to leaving, every single thing was perfect. The staff were amazing, they opened the front door of the restaurant when we arrived and left and were so welcoming and educated on there menu. The food was one of the best meals we have had. The wine list is very well thought out as well including the decor, music, and overall ambience. It is rare to go to a restaurant for foodies and say it is perfect, but thank you Muse Restaurant. You ticked every single box. We left and the first thing we said to each other was firstly WOW, and then said that we understand why you have two hats now. Congratulations on your recent success, it is clear why you got it.

All of the dishes on the degustation menu were incredible in their own way. Also a good amount of time in between the dishes, was left feeling very satisfied. We opted for an additional oyster each.

Our second visit to Muse Restaurant for 5 course degustation - Epic tasting experience with matching wines for each course. It never fails to disappoint on taste and quality of food, informative and personalised service, and atmosphere. In my opinion - you would struggle to find better food or experience in the Hunter valley area.

Excellent food / wine pairing. Only degustation option, which suited us. Some interesting innovations with a Japanese twist.

The attention to detail at this restaurant is flawless. Whenever we visit the hunter. We have to book a table at Muse.
You can not go wrong with the degustation!
The wine sommelier is just immaculate at pairing wines with each dish.

We absolutely loved dining at the Muse Restaurant! We had the Autumn menu and every course was not only delicious but an adventure for the taste buds with all the various flavours and textures. The service was fantastic too! Would highly recommend treating yourself and visiting the Muse Restaurant

An absolutely incredible dining experience.. by far the best dining experience we have had in Australia. The flavors of each of the 5 courses were unique and the chef did the most fantastic job combining different textures and tastes in each plate while presenting it in the most beautiful display. Mel was UNBELIEVABLE.. I could have sat listening to her tell us about wines all night. She paired the wine perfectly to each course and selected the most delicious wines to the point that we went out to the farms today to purchase her pairings as they were such great choices. The ambience in the restaurant is spot on from the lighting, to the fireplace, to the background music and aromas. Each staff member was attentive, considerate and knowledgeable. We just did not want the evening to end! Thank you Muse.. you have got everything right!!

The experience my wife and I had at the Muse Restaurant was simply incredible. From the attentive but not intrusive service, to the formal fine dining atmosphere you’d expect with a cozy fire place interior and the simple yet refined menu. The food was great, just simple enough to be understandable and delicious but unique and experimental to fit the price point.

A highly recommended hunter valley treat for a special occasion.

My friends and I visited Muse Restaurant over the recent long weekend and their food, as always, was amazing.
Their attention to detail is top-notch, they set our table with specific vegetarian menus which was a warm welcome and our waiter was friendly and attentive. I'm already longing for my next visit.

P.S. Get the coconut, you won't regret it!

I just finished an incredible dining experience at Muse Restaurant that I will never forget.

The service was impeccable, especially Curtis who looked after my table.
Every single dish that was served was perfectly balanced with amazing flavours & an array of textures. It was so difficult to select my dishes as every menu item sounded incredible.

Nothing could be faulted in anyway whatsoever.

The tasting menu, featuring the finest Hunter Valley produce, was an absolute feast for the senses. Every bite, especially the agnolotti, was a testament to their commitment to culinary excellence. The thoughtfulness behind the wine pairings further enhanced the overall enjoyment of the meal.

I regret not obtaining the name of the restaurant manager, but their influence was evident in the seamless orchestration of our dining experience.

A special mention goes to Ben, who not only ensured our glasses were never empty but went above and beyond by driving us back to our hotel when transportation became a challenge. His kindness and genuine concern for our well-being made the evening truly memorable.

For someone who had been struggling with a loss of taste after Covid, the food was a real highlight. I could definitely taste it! The flavours were perfect.

After the first time on a plane in eons, spending time with friends not seen in years, Muse was the perfect setting, service, and experience to honour our very special occasion.

The food is inspired and impeccable. Every bite was brilliant. Smell, taste, texture were all beyond anything we had hoped for.

And the service. Kind. Pleasant. Just enough and never too much.

Been there during Easter break and tried the Autumn 5 course menu. Modern, elegant setting with amazing food. Worth 4.5+ ranking. Definitely recommend.

One of the top restaurants in the hunter valley in my opinion. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Amazing food, amazing service and excellent wine choice.
