We booked a table for 5:30pm. When we arrived, glad we booked as the place was booked out, we were told the brasserie didn't open until 6pm. While waiting, our daughter played in the play area with lots of other kids.

When we ordered, food arrived quickly despite the large number of orders we saw taken.

Service the entire time we were here was excellent. Great staff and very organised.

The food was well worth the wait. We had garlic bread, pork belly off the specials board, barramundi (fish of the day) and a kids spaghetti. All the food was amazing. Well priced, great size, and such very good taste.

We'll definitely recommend this place and will keep it in mind next time we are in the area.

Like the other reviews, food was almost flawless but the coffee was awful. Only dampener on an otherwise excellent dining experience.

Great place to come with friends and family. Found the local local residents very warming and pleasant. Entertainment was brilliant with plenty of little things to do.

Staff was very friendly, however the food was quite basic considering the price paid for them. The salad in particular did not look very fresh. The beer however was quite good.

Not overly impressed went for dinner and my bf's steak was perfect, but my chicken parma was overcooked and bacon on it was so burnt it was actually black.

Ok for what it is but that's about it. Standard pub food but nothing I ate or saw was that great. If you're staying at the hotel it makes sense but certainly not worth making a journey for.

Guys, your food is great but the coffee is horrible. It is not meant to be a bucket of milk with a bit of coffee. We had leave it behind.

We went today. Service was great. Staff were very friendly. Ordered the kids beef burger for my son.....it was a slider not a burger and only had 1/2 a patty on it. My husband and I ordered the share lamb plate ($78) lamb was quite dry, veggies were good but it definitely wasn’t worth $78! The waitress asked how our meal was I told her the lamb was dry, we didn’t eat it all and took the rest home for the cat, she said she’d inform the kitchen but no one came to speak to us. We had been a few times before it had changed hands and it was always good.
Also the kids area has been torn down and replaced with a tiny cubby house.....we definitely won’t be rushing back.

OK, this is an honest appraisal. Came with my wife and two daughters. Ordered kids bangers and mash, potters pie, pork cutlet and garden salad..... the sausages were very very dry as if they were over cooked. The mash was not great unfortunately, the potters pie was very very salty , to runny and meat was fatty, the pork cutlet admittedly was delicious no complaints there, the salad was medley of capsicum, tomatoes and cucumber.... it was OK.
The beer I ordered was the pale ale.. it was OK with hints of passion fruit. The cider was also ok. I would summarise the experience as being very average unfortunately as not everyone enjoyed their meals.

Fairly average restaurant. Chicken schnitzel was dry as if it was pre cooked. Arancini balls are expensive given that there are only 4 small balls and it cost $20 bucks.

I had good expectations as have been here 2 years ago and many times before, kitchen was always great. This time I had big disappointment of this place and will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.
We had a birthday party here and this is a reason I did not return the dish so not to ruin our evening. But I paid $30 for a lamb, it was mostly pure fat, I was turning it around to find a reasonable spot of edible meat, pure fat all around, tried a piece, terrible taste. I gave up on meat, looked at the rest of contents on the plate, 2 overcooked and dry potatoes, terrible taste, and a sprinkle of corn seeds, that's it, nothing else, for $30. Another shocker was we ordered a table for 8 people not mentioning kids so needed 1 extra chair to seat everyone and they simply had no more spare chairs. I don' like confrontations and complaining but cannot get past this event, after all it is a big deal when you pay a decent $ and stay hungry and frustrated, so I would love to be contacted by the owner of this business and pay me back my money.

My wife and I have eaten at this establishment twice over two weeks and on both occasions we have had an unpleasant experience.
On the first visit, the restaurant was sparsely populated with guests and the service quality was terrible. The food quality was quite poor also. Both the sauces for our dishes were ice cold as were our sides.
On our second visit we were unable to put in our order as the staff merely looked at us and walked away with a scowl.

Between the poor service and poor food quality I can only give this restaurant a 1/5.

Just finished having lunch here and I have to say it was very underwhelming. The pork belly was dry and the rind was not crackeled. My wife ordered the chicken parmajana, however when order was ready they had made a plain snitzel. When I queried this they said it was a snitzel ordered and if I wanted a Parma I would have to pay for it. While I have no issue paying the difference, the manner in which the kitchen hand dealt with the issue was well below par, making out as if I was trying to rip off the bistro for the $6 difference. I would definitely not recommend this place and will not be back!

Food was horrible, chicken was extremely dry, the steak had no flavour. Tasted as though they had both been reheated. Would not recommended
