You must try the Pizza. It is so delicious, full of flavor. The Prawns were tasty and cooked too perfection.

The staff were friendly, and give great service.

Absolutely delicious!!!! The bhaji is as good as everyone says, cheesy garlic naan is a must! Crispy shrimp is cooked to perfection, butter chicken and lamb rogan josh are melt in your mouth tender. Can't believe we have driven past for so long and not stopped in, the chef coming out to check on how we were enjoying the food and interacting with the kids and the lovely server were just the icing on top. 10/10

Driven past this little place so many times and tonight we decided to try it. So glad we did. The food was fabulous - best Indian we have had in a very long time. Will definitely be coming back.

Just had a fantastic dinner. The service was great along with the food. A great specials list for the month. The best onion bhaji we've had ( not the usual glub of oil you are given at other restaurants). We recommend a visit if you're staying in Cessnock. They are licenced with a great selection. We will be back to visit again.

It was a wonderful experience. I celebrated my wife’s birthday and they were really accommodative. It is the only Indian restaurant in the area but it still maintains great standard. The food is delicious and service is great. The owner was helpful in choosing the dishes and modified dishes to suit us. We would surely recommend it. We ate here each day of our stay. Wish they opened during morning also:)

First time. Menu not bad. Bit of a tardis. We were early, 6.30pm. Business slowly built up, especially takeaway. Food was great, came in good time. Certainly will go again.

Update: Attended last night with family. Apart from one other customer, just us four. Once again, scored a goal! Entrees quick and delicious. The prawns were crispy and juicy, the deep fried onion item to be noted. Mains too were very timely as well as their disappearance. Excellent meal. Excellent service.

Really tasty food, we did not expect this little gem in Cessnock. Do try the lovely butter chicken. That all with a friendly service!

The staff is so kind and the food is surprisingly tasty. We had butter chicken and vegetables biryani. The mango juice was not that good.

We arrived a bit late as we had driven from Qld and we were keen for some good Indian food. We asked the waiter to ask the chef to make us ‘Indian hot’ not ‘Australian Hot’. He came out to check that we were sure and then he made us the most spicy hot delicious Rogan Josh and Vindaloo. The Naan was fresh and fluffy. It was perfect. We had a great chat about chillies at the end. I hope you find some customers that like Goat Curry - they don’t know what they are missing out on. Thank you.

Really nice! We had the chicken tikka masala and beef vindaloo, both really enjoyable.
It’s a bit pricey but we don’t eat Indian food all that often so I’m happy to pay for quality food.
We will eat here again & I highly recommend trying if you visit the Hunter Valley.

Unnnnnnnreal, ordered the lamb saag, butter chicken, cheesy garlic naan (of course) with vege samosa and rice - highly recommend. You can really taste the spices all together like a flavour infusion explodes in your mouth but like in a good way. I'll be back, committed now to the cause of trying everything on this menu.

Had dinner here last night. At first I dismissed it because of the overall rating but then I decided to read the reviews as they have a lot vegetarian options like any Indian restaurant. I'm glad I did and decided to try this restaurant as both the food and the service was excellent. There weren't many dine-in customers but a lot of take away orders were being picked up. We had 3 courses and some naan on the side, all dishes were very tasty. The lady serving us was very polite and checking on us to see if we needed anything else.

Fantastic little restaurant, the meals were amazing. Some of the best Indian myself & colleagues have enjoyed. And the service from Nakeshia & Lauren was first class. We will definitely be back.
Thanks for taking care of us & the great night.

We tried this restaurant on a couple of occasions during our Easter trip to Hunter. However we only did takeaway as the there was no booking available. So I cannot comment on the service. However the food is delicious and our party of 10 enjoyed it thoroughly. The venue itself is small as I believe it will not be as busy outside the holiday period. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you like Indian food.

It’s a cosy place with mediocre interior but relishing and yummy food. We ordered garlic naan, tandoori rotis, chicken tikkas, paneer butter masala, dal makhani and chicken vindaloo. All the gravies were different from each other, in their base(believe me, this is the biggest issue with restaurants serving so called Indian food!). Service was good and waitress was accomodating and knew what she was delivering. Definitely worth a visit, if you crave Indian food during your stay @ Cessnock. Cheers !

Staff were Lovley, food was fantastic
5 stars!
My partner can be a fussy eater, and she loved it!
Portions sizes always look deceiving, but I'm stuffed. In a good way ☺
Make sure you check out their butter chicken and mango chicken!
Pricing was good too

We visited this restaurant yesterday in search of decent Indian food here at hunter valley . And this didn't disappoint at all.Almond and Spinach Kofta was outstanding and Garlic Naans and "Garlic and Cheese Naans" were cooked to perfection. We liked vegetarian Biryani as well. Paneer Butter masala was ok. Owner was friendly and so were other staff members. Overall a decent experience. Well done and keep it up!
