Australia Post - Rhodes Post Shop

Staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The queue sizes are epic particularly at lunch time but I can't see how that is the post offices' problem when they already have 3 to 4 counters operating. They are within a shopping mall. Clients may need to readjust their expectations and provide feedback on the quality of service and the knowledge of the employees first and foremost

People’s working there are very nice and friendly!! Be smart and just don’t go during lunch time and after work this is the peak hours this is why the massive lineup!!

I'm extremely delighted with the exceptional service I've received today, as well as on several previous occasions, since I moved to the area. The staff at the Post Office go above and beyond to assist you. They tirelessly run around to serve customers and handle parcels, even the ones that are remarkably heavy. I can only imagine the challenges they face, dealing with countless packages and occasionally being held responsible for any lost items. It's important to remember that they are humans, not machines, working diligently to provide us with a valuable service. Just like any of us, they have their good and bad days.

If you find yourself visiting the Post Office, I'd like to offer a few friendly suggestions:

Wear a smile: A simple smile can brighten up someone's day and create a positive atmosphere for both you and the staff.

I posted quite a large package today, had a great experience there. The person who served me did a great job and I was out of there in a couple of minutes. Would definitely go back there in the future.
I had read the reviews, and was initially put off but I guess you can’t judge a book by its cover.

I can’t say anything bad about the place, the people working there were very well spoken, spoke proficient English, were welcoming and not rude at all like other reviews. I say just ignore all the negative reviews and give it a go for yourself

Got in and out in 15 mins on a weekday. If you go on weekends or peak times at lunch of course it will be busy. The workers aren’t purposely working slow. They’re doing their best and I’m sure they have to deal with a lot of difficult and entitled customers in this area. Or maybe the queries aren’t as straightforward as mailing a parcel, which take time to resolve. Yans the friendliest one at the shop so I’d imagine the customer she was serving was a real piece of sh…

Very nice experience of Australia post Rhodes today while sending a parcel to India . Staff is jovial efficient and help full. Envelopes, letter parcel package etc displayed nicely with price. Good wishes.

We've been with Australia Post Rhodes for the past 5 years. The job is hectic due to heaps of customers going in and out. So far, we haven't had any problems and recently had the best excellent experience with a guy there named Andy. He made sure to help and guide us every step of the way with our passport application. Kudos to you and all the staff there.

Don'the usually do these reviews but felt compelled, I can't speak highly enough of the staff here ... an unexpected overseas trip and an expired passport meant a massive panic attack for me. I turned up unannounced on a Saturday morning and had it all sorted in 15 minutes. I didn't take note of the staffers name but he was the epitome of great customer service, thank you.

My husband and I went to lodge our passport applications at this branch. Cynthia was super helpful and knowledgeable about the process. It was very smooth and quick and we were very happy with the service

Recently I visited Auspost Burwood and found the service and layout of the shop terrible there. That made me appreciate the good service I have enjoyed for past 1 year at Auspost Rhodes. The layout of the shop is welcoming and has good ambiance. Usually there is a queue and have to wait for 10-15 mins, but that's OK. Never any issue with the staff or the service.

The only thing is restricted timings, one has to find time during weekdays during business hours to run these errands. It would be mighty convenient if the timings are increased.

Surprised by some negative reviews here. I had my 4 month old son's passport photo taken here and had the most pleasant experience. The gentleman of Indian ethnic background was so helpful in accommodating my little child. He could've simply sent us away to another location which has facilities for baby photos, instead, he tried for at least 10 minutes to get the right shot of my kid who wouldn't stop moving (understandably). I couldn't grab the gentleman's name but what a top notch officer. Australia Post Office - give that man a bonus!

I have been going here for 3 years and haven't had a problem with the regular staff. There is a new girl who is a bit sassy but other than that, the regular staff I've dealt with have been extremely useful and pleasant, haven't had any trouble with anyone.

Me and my partner needed some documents signed on short notice. A laborious 11 pages, each needing to be signed by 2 witnesses. They had every right to refuse us, they had customers lining up behind us and yet they went above and beyond the call of duty and got through the entire document.

I really want to thank Achal and Zheng for providing a terrific service.

I was skeptical the first time when i visited this post office - based on the reviews. But, I can confidently say that these guys are doing an awesome work and its not an easy job that they do. Their english is clean and they for sure treat you with respect. Overall, am very happy with the service

I’m so happy to see the old staff gone, I’ve been living in Rhodes for so many years now and I’ve always dreaded going to the post office due to staff treatment, new staff on the other hand is amazingly helpful specially Jasmine, Ray and Sophie... so happy to see the change

Dennis was very helpful as well as the other staffs. Trying to apply HRW licence there and it took me about 10mins for everything including photo shooting.

Was cautious after reading the other reviews and seeing the line out of the door, but was served in under 10mins, with another staff member working the line to help expedite other customer requests. No complaints whatsoever

I guess the delivery contractors are to blame instead of the PO, staff here actually very friendly in my opinion. Try delivering to a parcel locker or using the self service machine to avoid the long queue.
