Oh my goodness me!!! You need to try their Chilli Jam Eggs!! I’m a traveller visiting from the UK and me and my friend came passing through and had some food here. First of all the staff here were very friendly and welcoming! We were recommended to try the Chilli jam Eggs which (feeling adventurous) was what I went for! WOW this was no doubt one of the best meals I’ve had in Aus!! It was so good I want more!! I’m usually a very picky eater too but the meal was so delicious and the presentation looked insane I definitely will have to come back one day!! Anyone looking for a good place to have some food, good vibes and coffee definitely try out this place! Plenty of seats inside and outside so perfect for larger groups visiting too!! 10/10 :)

Netty. Was. Here. For a quick bite on my way through town. My eyes lit up when I saw the coffee! Good sized cups that are priced right and the brew is great too! I also got the BAE Muffin 🥰 Perf, took advantage of the plate decorations too! All together $13.50 I’m satisfied.

My partner and I had our best breakfast here during our trip to the Hunter valley for a wedding! The large coffee is amazing value considering the size and the taste was seriously good. We loved our eggs Benny with crispy bacon (the potato bun it is served on really elevates it!). The two guys running the shop were the nicest people and we will definitely be coming back on our next trip up north.

After spending a lovely few days in The Hunter Valley wine region, My Fiancé and I were after a satisfying and good value breakfast.. Boy did this place deliver. So many breakfast venues in the region were overpriced and underwhelming. Not Quick Bites Cafe...

My partner ordered the Waffles. They came topped mixed berries and a berry compote drizzle which was to die for. Satisfying the sweet craving she had.

I ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham. The toast was hot, crispy and easy to cut.. Super generous serving of ham. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks were delicious and golden. The very generous serving of hollandaise sauce poured over the meal was the perfect savoury, creamy accoutrement. I can honestly say, I've had my fair share of eggs Benedict and this was by far the best I've ever had.

Service was friendly and prompt.

Prices were reasonable, especially for the quality of the food.

My only complaint would be the lack of a drinks menu. I'm happy to be corrected if there is one, but I could only find a food menu.

Definitely worth a visit if in the area. Worth the 20ish minute drive from Pokolbin for a very good breakfast.

On an average of three visits, this place totally gets five stars.
One of the few places in Cessnock that can make a coffee worth paying for. Food was excellent, super fresh ingredients and their own spin on classic dishes. 👌🏻
Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

The food was lovely and the staff are so friendly. We ate on a busy Sunday after a festival and whilst the food (understandaly) took some time to arrive we didn't mind as we were sitting in the armchairs in the air conditioning. Not sure what they put on the kale and spinach that comes with the big breakfast - but was amazing, I could have eaten a plate of just that 🤤

Really friendly owner / manger. Coffee is excellent and meals are tasty and good value. Quick if you want to grab and go or leisurely if you eat in.

Great spot for a couples breakfast. The share platter for two has such a great combination of flavours. Bacon, eggs, holumi, chorizo, corn fritters, spinach, mushroom, relish and more! Every bite was delicious. Very reasonable pricing too.

Fantastic range of coffee blends to try with different strengths, delicious food with an option for a small or large portion and friendly service.

And you get to watch Tom (the head chef) do his thing.
Great little cafe with comfortable seating and air-conditioning.

Excellent coffee in the biggest cup I've ever seen and the best eggs benedict I've ever had, poached eggs were runny and perfect! Couldn't recommend them any more highly 😁

I’m visiting Cessnock and sitting in Quick Bites as I write, it was a random choice for breakfast.
I had scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough and it was simply delicious! A generous serve, filling and hearty. The coffee is fabulous and served in a giant keep cup with the number of shots appropriate to cup size for full bodied flavour.
If in Cessnock give this cafe a try! Who doesn’t love delicious food, great coffee and quick service with a smile 🙂
