Lovedale Smokehouse Cafe, Charcuterie & Majors Lane Cooking School

Absolutely highly recommend popping in for Breakfast and/ or lunch!
The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was amazing 🤩. we sat inside in the air conditioning (being 40 degrees) but would love to go back and sit in their beautiful outdoor area and let the kids have a play on the grassed area.
If you’re looking for somewhere delicious to eat that is not overly expensive, this is definitely the place to go.

Philly Cheesesteak - Slices of scotch fillet super tender and it mixed it well with onion and cheese, together with homemade BBQ sauce served separately, it created a very nice smoky favour.
Fried Chicken Burger - Chicken was tender and crunchy, even the bun was crispy, I ordered without slaw (my preference), both BBQ sauce and smoky aioli created the favour that was very impressive, highly recommended.
We have been visiting Majors Lane since 2006 when they first opened, and have been coming back many times since. The production has been very consistent, good quality and delicious.

We went to a cooking class, low and slow ribs. The whole experience was brilliant from the instructor to the food and coffee. Just an awesome experience and got to meet some amazing people.

A beautiful, quaint restaurant nestled in Hunter Valley. We ordered the buffalo wings, smokehouse burger and mushroom toastie which were all absolutely amazing!! Highly recommended the chips also, so crunchy and tasty. If you're looking for smoky bites, this certainly delivers....even the butter is smoked!

Went here for lunch today with my little sister and puppies. We didn't have a booking but we were able to get a table in the undercover courtyard.
Lots of options on the food and drink menu. Sister went the pork ribs and I went the chicken tenderloin special, doggy donut, and 2 puppacinos.
Definately worth the price, ribs were amazing and the chicken special was fantastic.
Service was great, we were checked on by the owner so felt a bit special!
Grabbed some goods from the shop before heading home!

My favourite smokehouse set in an awesome spot. I get my smoked duck from here for my Blinis. Lunch is great but today I only had coffee and a macadamia cookie. Was lovely and peaceful looking out.

Great value cafe that caters for everyone. Kids entertained with worksheets while waiting for food. Generous servings and staff are super friendly and helpful. Wonderful, prompt service and made for a great dining experience.

My wife and I did the smoked meat cooking class and it was not only very informative but great fun as well. The class was great value for the money and the best part was that we indulged in a fabulous meal at the end of the class. We would highly recommend this class for anyone looking to enhance their knowledge and skills in smoking meat and making their on sauces and spices.

We loved it here. There were four of us and ordered the meat dish for 2 onion rings and prawn tacos and that was plenty. The lamb on the smoked meat dish was amazing..my favourite.

Lunch at Lovedales Smokehouse today with friends. Had a lovely relaxing time & the best smoked chicken, bacon & Chardonnay fettuccine I've ever had. The smoked chicken in the pasta was amazing. Also the staff were lovely

We had the most wonderful lunch here today. The booking process was so easy online and extra special that they organised to wish my husband a Happy Birthday on their greeting board.

Such a nice venue and atmosphere and so nice to have someone lovely to come that is also appropriate for kids. Staff were great and service very speedy. All in all a great experience.

The deli has a great selection of mouthwatering smoked meats and cheese. Ordered a sample platter of the meats and cheese with no regrets.

The smoked brisket and the salmon salad were flavorsome and filling.

Highly recommend!

Every time I visit Hunter Valley, I stop here for lunch. Great and friendly service, and food is superb. Never disappoints!

Had the charcuterie plate and really enjoyed it - the smoked butter is amazing and we took a pot away with us. A great place to sit & relax away from the hustle of the main Hunter Valley and I liked the ablity to order a bottle of wine for drinking there and take the leftovers away. Also very good pricing for their take-away wines.

Came to Pokolbin for a wedding and was delighted to take a short drive to Lovedale to sample the fare at Lovedale Smokehouse Cafe. We ordered a smoked beef Hoagie and a corned beef Ruben sandwich. Both came with crunchy battered chips which were amazing. It was great to savour some local Hunter Valley produce cooked and served with love by warm & friendly locals. All I can say is the food was generous, delicious, and worth coming back for.

Just had the most delicious smoked chicken and bacon fettuccine! Was creamy with delicious herbs. Very generous serving and generous with the ingredients! YUM!

Came for lunch and ordered the pork ribs and beef brisket. Beautiful flavours and tender meat. Wish we could have tried a platter too, they kept coming past us and every single one looked amazing. The view of the vineyards under the sun created a really relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely come again.

Such a fun & rewarding morning with Ben & Debbie learning not only about Thai food but Thailand itself. Ben is a great teacher & very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be going again. Such fun 🤩

We had the pleasure of eating here today, we ordered 3 meals and all of them were so flavorsome. We will be back to try the ribs next time. The staff and atmosphere was just perfect sitting on the patio.
