West End Take Away

Great little takeaway shop, run by hard-working husband and wife team for the last decade or so. Chips are hand cut everyday and is really fresh unlike them frozen ones elsewhere. Everything at great affordable prices.

The loveliest owners..we were probably rowdy and loud and they joked with us whilst providing GRAVY and delish fried goods. Bless!

Good take away food, generous portions and very friendly services. We are not local but whenever we visit Hunter Valley for a few days trip, we'd get fish and chips here. Kids love it.

The best fish and chips that ive had in the past 11 years!! Honestly mean that. Such great fish, and home made chips were good too.

Went on a weekend. Their phone was ringing off the hook, and still managed to get our order very quickly.

First impression was that this place is like Fish n' Chip shops used to be back in the day. I liked it. I only had chips and a (potato) scallop though the quality was fine. I'll visit here next time I need a Chippy fix. Try it, I think you'll like it 👍

My first visit. We enjoyed the food. The shop was quite busy, 2 Infront of me and another 6 or 7 walked in behind me and their phone kept ringing with orders also. I didn't wait long for the food to be served. $40 fish and chips, calamari and potato scallops, fed 7 people with food left over. Nice thanks.

This place is your classic take away store. The chips are old school not a mass packet product. The burgers fresh. The staff had smiles the entire time. Classic fish and chip shop with great pricing.

Old fashioned chips - the best kind - the service is amazing, the owners are so friendly! The lady cuts the potatoes herself to make the chips, everything is Always so fresh! The best chips in town!!

The chips were great - real potato and wrapped up in paper like a proper takeaway! Fish cocktails were huge with crispy batter and flaky fish, exactly what I wanted, but even better was the prices. Nothing was too greasy either. If you're in the area, why go to places like Maccas or KFC when you can get proper takeaway like this?

Delicious food and friendly service. The prices here are so good too! 12 calamari for $13 is amazing. Seriously if you're in the area then detour for this takeaway.

Good food. Good combos including breakfast. Make espresso coffee. Friendly staff great service. Plenty of parking in a good location. Big range of choices in a takeaway.

The only place in Australia that does real, chippy chips. If you are British, you *must* try the chips here.

Always had great food especially love the hot chips from there.
