Had an amazing dinner. (Pork belly an sweet potato). All staff where very friendly and constantly checking on us. Would recommend.
Again the food was great.

Atmosphere here is great. Modern clean facility, airie natural sunlight in pokies room has to seen to be believed.
Meals were great and not to expensive.
Beer tasted great, and we even got free raffle tickets for meat draws.
Good spot for a couple coldies and a meal.

I've been going here for lunch for sometime now. All the staff in the Bistro are first class. They are fantastic people and I'm going to single out Amy as my favourite BUT they are all fantastic. Food is great and a reasonable price for the amount of food you get for your $$$$. Weekends are pretty busy so I recommend to ring and book a table.

We came on rib night...SO good, both in terms of the food and value for money! Meat literally fell off the bone, sauce was delish, great chips and nice side salad.

Chicken schnitty was very tasty and filling. A tad dry but served with pepper gravy, it was great. Chips were nice. $24 for a big schnitty, chips and salad.. good value

A country pub of the highest order. Great choice of beer and a v ery pocket friendly happy hour every week day.

They are doing good things at the Aussie.
While it has always been far and away my favourite Cessnock pup the management and owners are making big improvements to the hotel. The menu is transformed and there is a new playground and courtyard for families. All the while the bar retains it's laid back pub feel. Big fan of this local pub.

My absolute local of choice!! Driving past many closer venues. The atmosphere is always cheerful & staff very friendly & helpful! The food is seriously the best I've found when talking pub grub...it's like bistro prices & restaurant quality meals combined!! 💜 I have never EVER been disappointed & given I'm quite fussy, that's a rarity. Even the best have at least failed me on one or two occasions but not these guys!!

So in short whether it be a few drinks & some socialisation or a meal with friends/family! You won't be disappointed! 🍻

It was amazing. I worked there pretty covid an the kitchen has had some huge changes an looks amazing. The food was beautiful. The staff are great well done cookie an team

I have it 5 stars compared to other pubs, not compared to a fine restaurant. It's excellent pub food, good selection of drinks, nice outdoor eating area and good pub ambience. Staff are terrific, helpful. Recommended.
