Zaaki Espresso

We’re a family of 4 who visited this warm and welcoming cafe on the way home from Port Stephens. It was well worth the short detour! The most exceptional coffee and delicious hummus I have had.
Our son and daughter literally licked their plates clean. Thank you for your hospitality and great food! We will be back 🙂

Coffee was good and strong but the food was OMG. My partner got the baked eggs (which I ordered but was a huge serving) and I had the eggs and flat bread. Those eggs and flat bread was to die for. My partner also got the orange cookie which was the right amount of sweetness to go with the coffee. Only disappointing thing was no baklava.

The cafe was clean and very minimalist. They have no public toilet.

This little cafe we only discovered couple of weeks ago! Great food, amazing coffee, friendly staff.

I’m now a regular and one of my highly recommended cafes in Newcastle.

The shakshuka with the Turkish bread was delicious! 😋

One of the best foods I've had in the Newcastle area. Service is a bit slow, but it's justified by the quality of the food that is presented to you at the end. It's just perfect. The desserts are mouthwatering too. Specially the Baqlawa Cheesecake.

Phenomenal coffee and food! I had the Jordanian Eggs and a long black and I can’t recommend them enough. The combination of well-seasoned eggs, delicious and rich hummus, fresh bread and halloumi made for an amazing breakfast. The coffee was also just as incredible and the staff were lovely. A must visit for all!

Came past for a little snack around lunch time. Ordered a falafel roll. It was tasty however a little pricy for what it was - not enough to stop me from coming back to try more of the menu.

Today was our first visit to Zaki Espresso. My partner and I shared a felafel wrap, lamb burger and chips. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was one of best felafels I've had in a long time! We took a piece of baklava cheesecake home for afternoon tea 😊

Me and my business partner often stop in here for coffee and food and it’s nothing short of amazing every time. Really good coffee aswell! Highly recommend this place

Lovely little place, warm and welcoming staff.
We had the Shakshuka and Eggs & Sujuk baked plate. Both were delicious! Would have liked a lil more spice in the Shakshuka but I'm a chilli head. Coffee was nice also.

Friendly staff, great food and killer coffee!

Absolutely delightful. Shakshuka eggs, Jordanian eggs, falafel, Turkish coffee, hummus and Turkish bread all brilliant. Will recommend to all our friends and maybe more after the real Turkish delight. Next day, the Turkish Delight was the very best I have ever had.

My new and favourite cafe in Newcastle (west Mayfield actually) .Campos coffee..made well..and middle Eastern (Jordanian I think) style breakfast. The flavours are fantastic location is nice and simple on Maitland road Mayfield away from the usual trendy haunts..go here it's great

Came here for breakfast with a mate. The place is clean and trendy-looking and the service is great with really lovely people working there. The food and coffee are delicious as well. Highly recommend the baked eggs with spicy soujuk. Price is a little high ($15) for the serving size in my opinion. But overall I had an enjoyable experience.

Best falafel I've had since being in the middle east. I had the mezze plate and it was delicious. My boyfriend had the Shakshuka and loved it. Very reasonably priced and the food is presented beautifully. Adorable little cafe with really friendly service. We will definitely eat there again soon.

The staff are consistently friendly, greeting customers with warm smiles. While parking in front of the cage can be challenging during peak times, there are several street parking options nearby. The cafe also features a cozy, shaded outdoor seating area for a comfortable experience.
