Raw Energy

Went here for lunch on the weekend as we were exploring Newcastle for the day. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was! We ordered the zucchini and corn fritters and pancake stack to share (wanted a bit of sweet and savoury 😉). Both were super tasty and very well presented! Ordered the chai latte and a strong latte. Chai was good (probably a little too sweet but still tasty) and my friend said the coffee was great. Will definitely visit again if we come back to Newcastle!

Great place for a healthy meal, try one of Raw Energy's juices too. Delicious. We had a late breakfast (vegetarian). It was the type of meal that is a real conversation killer, to busy enjoying the food to speak! Five star ⭐. Thanks

I love raw energy, this place has just what you need! The staff are all extremely friendly and give a fun family vibe! The menu is exactly as advertised. The location is just perfect, honeysuckle being the ideal location for 2017/18 Newcastle. A lovely breakfast for this happy traveler! A+++

This is a very popular family run business. The owners, Jenny, Gregory and their daughter Alison along with the staff, always have a smile and are ready for a chat, when they’re not flat out. The coffee is great, the outdoor verandah faces north to catch the morning sun and there is a great atmosphere when workers come for their morning shot of coffee and a catch up with friends and colleagues. The Super Muesli Bowl is my pick with strawberries, kiwi fruit, banana, coconut, yogurt, honey and much more. Grab the newspaper and enjoy the great food and atmosphere.

Nice latte and muffin. Was open at 6.00am . Barista was friendly and gave quick and efficient service.

Lovely brekky. Fresh ingredients. Friendly atmosphere and a sunny spot to enjoy it. Value for money.

There selection of food is great. Roughly half of there food is gluten free. The staff are always friendly and the service is great. They have one of the best avocado on toast in the region. Reasonably priced. The interior design of the cafe is light filled and warm. Although I am not a fan of the shade of green paint , the extensive use of plywood panelling helps to create an acoustic environment that one can actually have a conversation that you can hear which is a rarity these days.

We visited Raw Energy during a recent visit to Newcastle and were so impressed. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the cafe itself was beautiful.

I have celiac disease so rarely eat out as it's awkward to ask about gluten free options and I usually get sick, so I was a bit apprehensive about having breakfast here but as soon as I asked the woman who served me immediately said they take dietary requirements seriously and that if I tell her what I was hoping to order she could tell me if it was gluten free or not. She also put a note on the docket for the kitchen staff to make them aware which I appreciated. She also suggested I try macadamia milk in my latte which I really enjoyed.

The food came out super quick even though it was a busy public holiday, and it was absolutely delicious and huge portions! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and we will be sure to return next time we're in Newcastle!

Thanks to all the staff - it was such a joy to eat out in a restaurant and not feel awful afterwards, they really do make an effort to avoid cross contamination even in a small busy kitchen. Looking forward to returning!

This is hands down my favourite cafe in Newcastle. I have many dietary requirements (gluten, dairy and egg free) and they have always went above and beyond to cater for this. The food is of top quality, all freshly made and good sized meals - always leaving me feeling nice and satisfied. The owners are lovely and the staff are very friendly. The do great in house made sweet treats (GF and Vegan). I personally LOVE their smoothie bowls, smashed avo and the asain rice noodle salad. If you want an amazing fresh juice - the Nobbys sunrise is another personal go to. I am now a very regular customer of theirs and could not recommend this lovely cafe more!

Excellent coffee! I was craving it so just stopped by for a macadamia cappuccino and it had it all! The foam, the right temperature and the taste! Id definitely come back for food when im in the area again.

Jenny the owner is an amazing lady who is always there to help when we need large and sometimes last minute catering. Their food and drinks are fresh and delicious! The service of the lovely employees is always exceptional!

My no. 1 choice in Newcastle.
Having only recently moved here from Sydney it’s been frustrating & disappointing to find most cafes here are pretty average. It’s been especially hard to find a quality place with healthy options.
Raw Energy really stands out from the crowd on both fronts. Plus the coffee is great & the staff are always happy, friendly & helpful.
Go here before you try anywhere else.

Excellent little healthy food hub. Smoothies are delicious. Food was always great. Dared to try a coconut milk coffee as the staff had never tried it and was actually really nice.

Love Raw! Excellent food with heaps of gluten free, vegan and dairy options. Love their dragon fruit bowls and coffee 🤤 deffs one of my go to places when in Newcastle

Great vegetarian breakfast on Sunday. Quinoa and sweet potato and gluten free pancakes. Coffee excellent too. Nice location looking out over the harbour, and friendly staff.

Loved the location, sunnyside on the deck inside or out. No water views, tho had plenty of atmosphere and friendly service and my meal was devine.
Even watched a huge sea eagle float over the buildings close by..... That topped it off.

Always a good breakfast here, the food is prepared well and always fresh. Great location with friendly service and good coffee. Have never left hungry or disappointed

Loved this place! Lots of great gluten free and vegan options. We were disappointed they ran out of acai but the breakfast burrito and pancakes we had were amazing.
