Had a great time. The staff were super nice and helpful. We had coffee and some of the best pastries ever. Such a great waterside view too. Plenty of room, great selection of food and beers all with reasonable price. Thanks.

Great service and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Cannot sing it’s praises higher! Had the tiger prawn pasta, mushroom gnocchi and pizzas here with friends and they were all great!

I was here on a slow Tuesday night and ordered a steak, which arrived perfectly cooked. The wine list is excellent, as is the selection of beers.
Expect to spend $50+ per person for a main and a drink. That's probably reasonable for a restaurant on the harbour.
I ordered the Chipotle BBQ sauce, which turned out to be a lot hotter than I expected. It tasted good, but I'd recommend order a different sauce unless you are in the mood for lip burn.
Venue had a nice ambience. Music playing at around conversation volume, which was fine on the night I visited. I imagine the place could get noisy when full given the concrete floor and ceiling.

Great location. Great food with a good variety. Moderately expensive but the quality of the food and location make it good value. Service is good and staff are friendly and knowledgeable with the menu. Great variety of quality wine . Great place to dine outdoors and enjoy the view.

Great atmosphere, especially on a NYE trade. All the staff were so friendly absolutely no one disgruntled about working NYE.

It was so fabulous.
The place itself, location & atmosphere was great.
The service was great, we wanted for nothing.
My Mojitos were yummy & the Rose wine that was $9.50 a glass was the best my Dad has said he's ever had.
The food was fantastic, it came out In a timely manner & was so beautiful.
I was super impressed that all the main meals came out at the same time. That's a huge plus for me.
All in all it was extremely enjoyable.

Great service and delicious food with a lovely harbour atmosphere

Great food, lots of options and very friendly staff!

Not only the food was really good - I recommend the fries, they are delicious- but the service is really good as well. We got served by a young gentleman who helped us with the wine selection as we weren't quite sure about it. He was really attentive. Six degrees is near the water, the ambiance is cozy but upclass at the same time. We really liked it and will come back!

Straight up, the staff weren't the best. Mentioned that we wanted to feed out children, and the staff made us feel like it was a major inconvenience, like the venue was "too classy" for children. The person who took our order didn't know what the "soup of the day" was, and didn't want to go find out, which was quite incredible. However, now that all that is out of the way, the food was excellent and fast to arrive, including the kids meals. Prices were slightly higher than other venues, but matched the quality of the food, and was therefore happy to pay it. The venue was nice and clean, staff were attentive, and overall the meal was quite enjoyable.

What an amazing experience! We had a seafood platter for two for our 7 year wedding anniversary and wow! Delicious food, the staff were friendly and professional. Even going the extra mile to see if there was anything they could do to cheer up our overtired 1 year old. Thanks to all, especially the waitresses.

We thought doe the price we would be still hungry so ordered entrees as well. No need for that. We have been back twice and cannot fault it

This lovely cafe helped form our great impression of Newcastle! The food was delicious, good serving size, good quality, good value and service exceptional. We had a nut allergy and the waiter was very attentive to our needs and took a lot of care ensuring our meal would be nut free. The views were also amazing and we will definitely come back! Their Pizza was really good! The restaurant can get very busy but we still had quick service! And their chips are so good!

I would highly recommend the chili flake pizza if you want to spice up your beautiful view of the beach!

It was an amazing experience eating here, if I could give 6 stars I definitely would! The slowed cooked lamb was just beautiful, they took good care of my allergies, and our waiter was wonderful and the portions were really generous. Six Degrees has given me the best restaurant experience I've ever had in Australia.

Warm intimate setting with stunning gas fireplace & views of the harbour. Friendly staff who were always smiling, including chefs. Food was cooked super fast was was delicious. My favourite was the wicked chocolate cocktail.
Coffee isn't too bad, wouldn't go just for coffee though.

Highly Recommended!!! This restaurants outstanding customer service is what other restaurants should strive to achieve or at the very least learn from. The customer service is always on point and nothing is ever too hard. It also helps that the food is fantastic, and the location is lovely. You won't be disappointed.
