Chilli scrambled eggs & the yellow juice absolutely best combination, what a good time!

Friendly customer service, can obviously tell staff enjoy their work. Love this so much coming from someone who works at a cafe herself I was so very welcomed & catered for it’s the way it should be.

Keep it up y’all 🙂

Delicious food here, loved the Harissa Mushrooms on sourdough and the Special Japanese plate, great service, retro style atmosphere and nice coffee too

The smoked trout and polenta was delicious! I thought it would be a hot dish entirely but it was more like a salad. It was such a good combination of ingredients. I would highly recommend it! Lovely service and nice atmosphere too.

Food is absolutely amazing.
The service and atmosphere make it the best cafe in Newcastle.

Wonderful brunch on a Sunday morning - we had the “not another” healthy vegetarian bowl, bacon and egg roll, the hot cakes, shashoushka and an apple fritters with blueberry and panna cotta special. They were all excellent - fresh and lovely balance of flavours - definitely would come back for more. The vegetarian options were great - highly recommended cafe. The locals must think so too as there was a queue when we left just before midday.

My partner had been wanting to come here for ages on their Thursday Tagine night and we finally got the excuse to do it when using our last Dine & Discover voucher before it expired on 30th June.

We booked a table in advance inside out of the cold. The interior was buzzing, but not so loud you couldn't tall.
Staff were all very kind even though they were getting run off their feet.

We started with a mulled wine each to stave off the cold from being outside while we waited for our food.
I got the chicken with kale, olives, and yoghurt, but I found my partners lamb neck tagine was the stand out. It melted in your mouth and created a lovely savoury mix of lentils and sauce, punctuated with the occasional piece of pomegranate.
The accompanying Persian saffron pilaf rice was also quite good, particularly the sweet dried fruit.

It seems that the tagine night menu changes faiy regularly, so I feel like we will be back at some point.

Great little cafe. Plenty of seating options. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
We ordered a couple of coffees and a shakshuka with a side of mushrooms to share.
The food was tasty. My main criticism is that the shakshuka is a little basic for the price.
Overall, this is a great spot. I’ll be back.

Excellent place for lunch!!

The staff was very kind although the kitchen was closing soon. The food was tasty, fresh and the portions were good.

I also had coffee and a piece of cake. Both excellent. The coffee was really good.

I got souvlaki with a side of kimchi and to say it was good would be a gross understatement! It was marvelous, with fresh and crunchy veggies and the meat melting in your mouth. The best lunch spot in the area

Visited Moor on the spur of the moment as I was working in the area and needed a feed; so glad I did.

On arrival I waited to make sure I was all good to sit in while coffee was being made for folk in front of me. Gave me a chance to look at the decor. Got a relaxed vibe and assurance I was in a good spot. I took my all day menu and sat in a corner in the sun. Water was soon on the table and I was not rushed to order which was good as the menu was very much all filled with my style of food. I settled on flat white coffee and spicy scrambled eggs - see the photo!

Coffee was good and not overly hot which I like. Then the food, bottom line, the best scrambled eggs I've had! Eggs where spiced and came with chorizo sausage and a great onion/chilli/ coriander topping - I added a hash brown.

Start to finish was amazing, set me up for the entire day. Truly head to the venue if you are in the area. Staff are so nice and welcoming. I will be back though for an evening meal.. Thursday night is tagine night.. got to try that. Fantastic brekky! Thank you!!

I frequency visit this café at least 5-10 times a year for the past 5 years (breakfast or lunch), and as their menu changes and I'm sad to see some meals go, BUT they become replaced by something equally as delicious. The quality of ingredients lead to an exquisite tasting arrangement every. single. time. I don't think I've ever had less than an amazing experience here. Coffee, Juices, Meals. Always perfection. 👌

Been twice now, a few days apart, served by the same lady who remembered how I liked my drink, and although they were a bit slow that was to be expected for the lunch

Ordered 2 lattes, a shakshuka, and chilli scrambled eggs. Mind blown. Lattes were spot on. The chilli scrambled eggs was flavourful, unlike anything we had in other cafes. Wife is a small eater but polished the whole plate on her own. Shakshuka was wholesome, however could do with a little salt. Overall a satisfying experience and would fully recommend stopping by for brunch.
