Nice spot located just by the water at Newcastle. A good spot to have a coffee and some and recharge. There’s parking in front or a small parking lot located just by the water. Coffee was good as was the food. The big boss breakfast roll was great. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor. They keep the windows open so you get a bit of a sea breeze too which is nice.

Easily one of the best cafe's in Newcastle, with possibly the best steak sandwich in Newcastle

This place never disappoints!

They roast their own coffee beans (for you real coffee lovers) food is always prompt with excellent presentation, cooked well and with perfect proportion to the money you spend for it

Lovely cafe in the heart of Newcastle, vegan, vegetarian and meat eating options. One of the best vegetarian brekkie burgers I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service and place for breakfast. We ordered smash avocado 🥑 and ham amd cheese croissant 🥐 plus scrambled eggs and hash brown. As we were clients of The Lucky Hotel we got 10% discount. Fully recommended place. We will back

I was visiting Newcastle for one day. I came here because of the positive Google review, and I was not disappointed. Great atmosphere, good service. Surprisingly, I did not take a picture of my avocado toast (what was I thinking, so unlike me), but you have plenty of food pictures in the different reviews. They have room outside, and inside with a huge window they can open. I imagine there are plenty of seat options if it is hot, cold, or rainy.…

It was a nice brekkie place just perfect after we had our morning walk. Delicious food and coffee. Staff were really nice 🙂

Dropped in for quick brunch. Good decision. Food and menu is excellent. Definitely dine again.

Pros:
- delicious food with plenty of GF options
- amazingly quick service considering the small kitchen size - they’re a well oiled machine!
- great location just steps from the harbour
- great vibe
- they have SERRATED knives for eating the sourdough! It’s sometimes the simple things which make things special

Cons:
- just the one for me - we really didn’t like their coffee blend - not to our taste at all

The retained decor has to be seen. Reminds me of the Roman frieze’s even though Newcastle’s history is relatively short you just stare an wonder.
By the way the food is good and the coffee excellent.

Lovely relaxed place for breakfast. Had the smashed avo and the scrambled eggs on sourdough with smoked salmon. Both delicious.

The place is beautiful and the bacon & egg roll is the best that I’ve tried in Newcastle. Definitely coming back soon

Great space, they have kept parts of what the building used to be and made highlights of the old structure in the decor of the restaurant. Took visitors there to brunch, and they were equally impressed with the food and surroundings. One of my Vegan diners was also suitably impressed with the menu offerings. The staff were attentive and offered suggestions from the menu on what their favourites were, food was amazing, and we will definitely make this a regular place to visit for brunch outings in future!
