Bamboo Court Chinese Restaurant

This restaurant has some of the best suburban Chinese food that you will find. The decor inside is a bit old school but that only adds to the charm & after all it is the food that you have come here for & not the decor. It is always nice & clean & is licensed too.

The Combination Short (with dumplings) or Long Soup is awesome & is one of the best that you will find anywhere. It is packed with Chicken, King Prawns, Squid, Roast Pork & vegetables along with the noodles & soup broth of course. It comes in a big bowl which is a meal on its own or it is plenty big enough for 2 to share. A great dish.

My other favourites are King Prawn Omelette, Prawn Fritters, Beef or Chicken with Black Bean Sauce & Combination Chow Mein. The fried rice is good too.

Takeway is ready in 10 - 15 minutes & I always pick it up myself to overcome any unavoidable home delivery delays especially during busy times. But if you insist on using these companies dont leave the restaurant a bad review.

I have been a regular customer for over 20 years & the food is much better than other local Chinese restaurants or in The Shire.

This food was fantastic, the honey chicken is the best i have had. Food was fast and delicious. Great place to take the family and prices not over the top. Will dine again

I can honestly say that this is the BEST Chinese food in Sydney. It’s always fresh, delicious, great portion size and great value for money. The owners and staff members are also very friendly and always go out of their way to help. If there were 6 stars I would give them that.

I have one main dish..a simple Combination Chow Mein...juicy Prawns, the corn. Broccili,..the meat superb...the crispy fried noodles went perfectly soggy to my personal desires. 😋 I didn't want any Soy, relying on the sauce from the meal. Best Combination Chow Mein for long long time. I ll do the Sizzling Prawn or sizzling Lamb and Pancakes soon. I got the last table...right near, well close to the Poopatorium...I didn't mind that as it to me has a 10 star rating compared to Hungry Jacks at the Shell servo at Moore Park.

That toilet is the filthiest...mostly murdered by of all people, Bogan Hens Party Bus Groups...they use the Male & Female toilets enmasse...Disgusting Baetches!

Bamboo court has been a staple in my life for the past 30ish years. We come here every family birthday to celebrate and tuck in to amazing food.
We still visit regularly, but not as often as we once did.
I recommend the spring rolls, chicken in special sauce, Mongolian lamb and salt and pepper squid.

Our family have been coming here for 19 years. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in Australia. The 1st owners where the best!! The owners now are just as good. Always so welcoming and food is always amazing! Our family is huge and loud they always us feel so welcome! Thank you Bamboo Court for all the yummy food and Memories you guys are True legends!

Oh my lord, when I say this Chinese is the best Chinese I’ve had in a very long time I kid you not, I’m not lying. I have eaten Chinese all over the world and this is absolutely delicious - highly recommend the Sizzling Steak and the Honey King Prawns (oh em gee) you won’t be disappointed. We walked in without a booking and they accommodated us with seating. Thank you for your hospitality and amazing food keep it up - as we will be back! :)

Tried this for the first time. Got tired of my local chinese near my work. I tried the Curry Beef and Rice. They understood what I wanted in it (just onion for the veges), Cause I am a fussy eater. It was perfect. Meat is excellent quality, no fat etc. Curry was tasty and food was hot. Will be back again for sure.

Popped in craving some short soup, hoping they didnt add prawns or shrimp like some do... so excited when it was just pork wontons!
Was so delicious we went back and ordered more!
Mongolian lamb with pancakes and vegetables with curry sauce and rice.. so darn good. Driven past so many times.. kicking myself now that i'd not popped in before!

This has been our favourite Chinese Restaurant in the St George & Sutherland Shire area for many years & the food never disappoints, it is always excellent & so tasty.

We love the King Prawn Omelette, Combination Short Soup (one of the best you will get anywhere) & the beautiful Prawn Fritters.

Tonight we went for the King Prawn Omelette, Chicken & Black Bean sauce & Large Fried Rice & it was great as usual. The Omelette was chock full of heaps of beautiful prawns.

We always pickup our own takeaway & it is always ready in 15 to 20 minutes. But if you insist on using one of the food delivery companies who put a big markup on top of the restaurant price & often take forever to deliver then don't leave a bad review for the restaurant when they let you down. I recommend getting off your a**e & picking up your own food. There is plenty of parking close by under the shopping centre on the corner of Russell Ave.

If you are looking for a good suburban Chinese Restaurant you would be very hard pressed to beat Bamboo Court as it punches well above its weight compared to its competition.

Hey guys I came in 4 months ago and the Food was absolutely wonderful thank you guys the Skewers were cooked to perfection and the Vegetarian spring rolls tasted everything 5 stars and I give the food a 10/10

I eat here at least once a month with my Mum (many food allergies and a fussy eater) and my Dad. Never had a bad meal. You can cut the sizzling fillet of beef with a spoon. Always fresh ingredients and great flavours. Don't be put off by the plain exterior, the food is well worth the visit.

So I can’t believe I’ve been around for a long time and haven’t checked out this gem.

From entering we were met with lovely ladies that accomodated us even when we didn’t have a booking. I absolutely loved the salt and pepper squid .. reminds me of my childhood days.

The price reflects the size of the dish. So no complaints at all. Saw the foil dish on fire. Looked sick too.

My family drove there once by mistake but glad we went in there. By far the best Mongolian lamb we have ever taste. We always travel from seven hills just to go there as the food is amazing . There is not one dish we did not like. Staff are always friendly and will always be happy to travel a hour just to go there. Hhhmmm think I might head there now. Craving the food

Absolutely awesome Chinese. I’m not a huge fan of it but their fried rice in particular is exceptional. The staff are always so friendly and the cooking time is so quick.

You won’t regret it coming here. Top notch.

First time back with the family in 2 years due to the pandemic and Its still the best chinese restaurant in the area the portions are very generous and the food is very tasty especially their special fried rice

Best Chinese restaurant in Syd

Been going there for 25 years. Changed hands a year or so ago but standard has been maintained. Really good food at good prices. Chinese barbecue pork highly recommended!

Fantastic value for money and food is great, service is always fast and staff are nice and friendly, generally I go in a large group and they do very well to accommodate all of us , (we have a picky eaters in the group).
Worthwhile visiting if you are a local or driving past.

The best place to eat Chinese food, no doubt. They have years of experience. Every single dish is so tasty, absolutely delightful.
