Bayleaf restaurant and cafe

I highly recommend the Bayleaf. On our visit to Wagga Wagga last week we “stumbled” upon the Bayleaf. Food is first class!! Service first class! They were even concerned about our comfort sitting outside on a cold morning. If you want super delicious food and coffee, in a wonderful atmosphere with wonderful helpful staff, then go to the Bayleaf Restaurant and Cafe! You won’t be sorry.
My only complaint is, that they are not located in my home town!

Popped into this little cafe, hadn't noticed it before as it's a bit hidden away.

I had the main chicken pollo and entree calamari. Was absolutely brilliant!

The service is great and has a lovely atmosphere.

We had breakfast here this morning. The food is top class and the chefs and wait staff friendly and professional. The photos tell the story. We’ll be back to sample their dinner menu v soon!

Nice and open atmosphere with attentive staff who checked that we received everything in our order. My mom enjoyed a savoury chicken crepe while my siblings had kid’s crepes and pancakes. My favourite is the French toast and love the generous butterscotch jug accompanied with it. My family will enjoy coming back here.

It's only good vibes when I go here, fatema is always happy and welcoming. The foods great too especially the warm brownies.

Exceptional cafe option for breakfast. Very generous portions and excellent quality. All of the choices were great but the waffles were particularly exceptional.

What a lovely little cafe. The eggs bene was great. I loved the shaved sweet potato chips on top. And the avocado and toast was beautiful. The young lady who served us was very kind and helpful.

We usually come for lunch but we just had a beautiful brunch. It was so busy but despite this they did such an amazing job to cater for everyone.
Megan did a fantastic job, fitting everyone in and made sure everyone got their drinks and meals. She should be praised for working so hard with a friendly manner.

This restaurant is a total gem while our visit at Wagga Wagga for the first time. Food is so fresh and scrumptious and prepared in a clean environment. Dropped in here for an unplanned meal and had the most refreshing experience overall. In spite of the mixed and dated decor, the customer service was warm and attentive. Many other eateries no longer ask how your meal is. However, we were asked, and genuinely so.
Food was well presented, particularly the impressive pancake stack with banana, butterscotch, icecream, fairy floss and more. We selected cakes and slices to take with us and we're blown away with the presentation. They were beautifully and carefully presented in a cake box, with fresh fruit, choc sauce and butter as accompaniments, all finished off with a light dusting of icing sugar, chocolate shavings, candied orange and marshmallow. Much more impressive than the standard paper bag. It's all in the detail.
I don't know where else you'd see this care and presentation.
Finally, a friendly farewell was the cherry on top, because it certainly doesn't always happen. Well done on taking care of your patrons 🏆

Absolutely a dream for the sweet tooth ..beautiful place lovely service and the belgium waffle if i could would eat it everyday ..beautifully presented and absolutely appealling to the eyes and ofcourse the stomach..the fresh fruit .. the thick caramel sauce on the thick waffle x 2...just order ...it wiil be memorable

I recently visited Bayleaf on a Saturday where the service, food, and the staff members were all exceptional and very helpful, It was evident that the chefs put a lot of thought and skill into each plate. The food was delicious, with every dish bursting with flavors. Not only was the food delicious, but the overall service was also remarkable. The staff, including Suzie worked seamlessly together to ensure that all guests were well taken care of.The overall experience was remarkable, with a cozy ambiance and a great team of attentive helpful staff. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience.

We enjoyed the most wonderful brunch here. Delicious food, excellent presentation and wonderful, friendly staff. Coffee was one of the best I’ve had in a few weeks! Menu had tons of options & is vegetarian friendly.

Excellent value for money too.

There is good outdoor seating in the shade. Staff were so friendly to our dogs too- offering them water and bacon!

11/10 recommend !!

We come to Wagga regularly to see my 88 year old mother in law and we eat breakfast here EVERY time beautiful food lovely service 👍👍👍

Popped in to get a chai latte as they were opening this morning, a very lovely and open space, very cute cafe.

Coming to the store not so busy. Don’t be fool by the dark atmosphere and light. The menu needs to be replace honestly. We’re nearly walk out by the dark and the menu but too hungry to find another place.
Turn out, the food is amazing, all 4 of us were full. Everything’s cooked perfectly. Thumbs up to the chef and the FOH staff.
Besides the lights should be replaced as the store looks like it will close any minutes, the menu should be changed probably something plastic and not thin paper and the iced mocha should have cream on the top. I think during this hard Covid hit, this restaurant deserves this rate.

Extensive menu to choose from. Very attentive staff. Lamb shoulder was extremely tender. Seafood platter was varied and exceeded expectation. Service was excellent. Highly recommend for a full meal or a sweet treat. Enjoyed by all at our table of 11.

Our go to place for burgers! Great value for meals with quality ingredients and a homemade feel. My fave would have to be the chicken and avo. The customer service is also fantastic.

I live in Canberra but I visit Wagga about once a month to see my best friend. Every time I am here I go to bayleaf cafe and I am never disappointed. The food is incredible, it’s always really fresh and no matter what you get to eat, you will always be satisfied. The service is amazing, you never have to wait too long for your food and the staff are such beautiful, friendly people. The French toast is my favourite, I highly recommend bayleaf cafe Wagga Wagga.
