Amazing spot to relax and swim. You need to walk 10-15 mins from your car. Be careful walking on the rocks. They are slippery.

Great looking swimming hole, bit cool today. A rocking walk down, steep coming back for a bit. 2.5km round trip about.

Good and relaxed hike to the waterfall. It’s approximately 2km one side and on your way back you have to climb uphill which could be bit hard for people not use to hiking. So take breaks and bring water with you.
Beautiful spot for a picnic and a swim in hot summer days. Recommend place to visit.

A 2km walk from the car park on a wide graded fire trail. Downhill on the way in and uphill on the way out. A lovely waterfall and natural swimming pool. Well worth the short hike.

Great place for a swim in the watering hole and very relaxing tranquil place. The walk there was about 35mins and same back again. The trail is very rocky and slippery so make sure you're wearing good shoes with alot grip and must be reasonably fit as its very challenging walk that requires stamina and strength. All in all its worth the trek there. Definitely recommend!!

An easy enjoyable sometimes steep 2km muddy walk down the fire trail to reach this blissful swimming hole. Very busy on a public holiday!
We had the most relaxing time here.
Next time will bring cider, rockpool shoes,
inflatable, and beach chairs
No phone signal
Lots of cars had parking notices on their windscreens for not buying a national parks parking ticket! (We bought an annual park pass)

It was a great experience. Walking through the amazing bushland and exploring the royal national park. I visited during the weekdays, so it was quite peaceful and quiet throughout the trails. I walked from Bundeena to Waterfall station via Winfred falls and it was beautiful. I stopped on the rocks for some lunch and felt calm and relaxed. It definitely gave me motivation for the rest of the walk.

Great walk, way down is pretty easy and quick. Few slippery hills so wear proper shoes. Way back up is up hill so takes a bit more effort but all still fairly easy

Stunning waterfall which is ever nature lovers dream. It’s a 20 minute walk from the car park. I strongly recommend wearing closed shoes with a thick sole for the walk, as the path is uneven and steep in parts and then having flip flops for hanging by the shore line. Also bring water, I saw quiet a few dehydrated adventures who underestimated how long and steep the walk is.

Great place to visit, you can also see beautiful flowers along the way!
Some fringed Violets and grey spider’s flowers.
The water is nice and warm. The falls are great massage too!

A must do if you're in the National Park for a day or more. Just follow the google maps direction to the falls and park in the allocated area. The rangers were out in their Rav4 checking passes were displayed. They issued "non compliance notices" which weren't fines. They just charged offenders the $12 they were supposed to pay for parking. So, if you try to skimp out on parking, you may or may not have to pay the $12. But, for the sake of a very underfunded NPWS, please pay it. The department is already stretched for funds.
The track is mostly packed sand and sandstone gravel with a few trickling puddles across it. Definitely be mindful of snakes. They're your biggest threat out here after slips, trips and falls. The 1km track down to the falls is downhill the whole way, so be mindful that the trip after your swim will be all uphill.
Once you arrive down the bottom to the falls, you'll likely be greeted by around 10 or 20 other people. Don't expect to be alone. Seemed a popular spot for twenty somethings exploring on their own as well as families.
People were confidently jumping from a moderately high rock platform into the water including both adults and children. The water must be pretty deep. No one was hurt. I'd still recommend doing your due diligence!
The falls themselves were a short drop of approximately 2 or 3 metres and the sounds of the water cascading around into the pool was beautiful. There aren't a lot of flat areas to set up your stuff. Most of the area is very craggy with rocks and tree roots unless you sit directly above the falls. There, the rocks are flat and wide. A little further upstream there are some sandy areas a little more conducive for a shady experience where it was much flatter. There are some shallower wading pools for the little ones upstream, too!
Definitely not wheelchair accessible.

This place is awesome, there is plenty of parking and I reckon it's a better option than wattamolla , not busy and the water is clean and deep. There is also about a 4m jump rock there which is very easy. The walk down is about 30mins on a very easy trail. We carried out Esky and extra stuff down no problems. I would highly recommend!

Very nice and beautiful waterfall, especially after some rains.
Easy access, although long walk from car park, may be challenging for little ones.
Gets crowded really quick on a hot day.

Beautiful clear water. Hiked in from loftus, really good.

Actually rating the south west arm pool as we wen during the summer. Winifred falls looks disgusting, brown and trashful however a short walk down to south west pool would be one of the best swimming holes you’ve been to.
The pool has four jumping spots into a very deep pool which water came from a river. One jumping spot was a swing which was my favourite one. Do recommend but I would love to visit Winifred falls during the winter

Amazing spot for swimming! Water is crystal clear and the bush around is just gorge. The walk is about 20min from the where you park. It can be a bit steep and muddy so be ready for that.

Really nice walk. Started at Audley Hall although there’s a shorter way as we wanted a longer walk. Took us almost 4k to the falls.
The falls is beautiful but we went further down, left of the falls (around 500m more) and there was a really nice pool called Southwest arm pool with a rope swing. We swam and swung! Was a good day!

This waterfall is a hidden gem and it’s best when the water is on high tide. The trail going to the falls is easy however, going back could be bit challenging. The waterfall water is warm and good for a day trip.
