Amara’s North Beach

I’ve had a few great experiences here recently, yummy food both times. Convenient location right up from the beach and close to the nearby bus stops. I recommend the smoothies and pancakes here. But the pastries are also quite pretty and tasty

Had breakfast here and it was so delightful! The pancakes were filling but cooked to perfection, and the katsu chicken burger was not oily at all and came out so fresh! The waiting time was honest and not long at all, and the staff were so kind and friendly! I would definitely recommend eating here!! And they catered for our love of condiments which was so nice ❤

Travelling for work, staying across the road at the Novotel and stopped by for breakfast. Service was friendly and the meal was exceptional, particularly for gluten free. View makes for a pleasant start to the day as well. Highly recommended, especially for any fellow Coeliacs.

We’ve been to Amara’s a few times now, different times of the day. Food has been delicious and very generous servings. The coffee is consistently good and the staff have been friendly and prompt with our requests.
Our last visit was a large table during a busy period and the food and coffee was just as good as a time we’ve been when it’s not as busy!

This morning about 8.30am got a surprise delivery which we soon found out it was from Ariel’s that our lovely daughter sent.

The packaging was exceptional and the presentation was beautiful.

We didn’t know what to start with as there was quite a few verities of delicious looking breakfast goods.

Everything looked fresh and delicious and we wasn’t disappointed after having tasted a couple of items.

We may have found a new go to place and keen to try their coffee as from the good reviews I’ve
read.

We were really impressed with their online variety of choices that looked absolutely enticing that we now had another option for future gifts all occasions.

Had breakfast here today with the family...great service very friendly staff food was absolutely delicious new menue new food we were happy...cant go wrong with the coffee one of the best coffees in town...Thank you Amaras we will be back.

Great food and excellent coffee near the beach. Highly recommend dropping in here. Both the breakfast and lunch are great, my go to in Wollongong.

Yummy food, reasonably priced, great choice and great coffee. Very friendly service.

This is just at the centre of all the attractions Northbeach has to offer, Novotel and beach almost right opposite, it is a perfect spot. Beautiful ambience with some seating having nice view of the beach and flower wall to compliment. Great coffee and food in this area I have had, I would definitely visit again!!

Fantastic beachside location with a relaxed atmosphere. Best pancakes in The Gong and the coffee is always on point. :)

Recently had lunch at Amara’s. Nice, bright, airy cafe with large windows that let the gentle breeze into the cafe. Tried the Chicken sandwich and was cooked well and tasted even better. Will definitely be going back again!

Fast and amazing service, I’ve been there a few times and have ordered multiple different dishes; each time it was delicious and brought out quickly. The portions are huge and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Really nice cafe with friendly staff. Went to the bathroom (with a young kid) and they cleared our plates while we were gone, before we had finished 🥲delicious food. Small bugbear as eggs Florentine (poached eggs w/spinach) was listed as “eggs benni” (eggs Benedict, poached eggs w/ham) on the menu. I was able to add ham for a small extra cost. Definitely worth a visit. Food was quick to come out, fresh and delicious and atmosphere was family friendly and great. Told my kid it was Ariel’s favourite cafe 🧜🏼‍♀

I have been watching the adds for Ariel’s on Facebook for months. But last night I decided Saturday breakfast and afternoon tea.
Simple ordering and on your first order 20% off.
I ordered the Waffles & Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries, strawberries , cream and 3 different sauces. Also ordered Scones, jam and cream.
My partner and myself had never had waffles.
It was one of the best breakfast meals we have had.
I would recommend anything on the menu.
Next order for use will be Portuguese Tarts and Cannoli
