Absolutely love the staff here, fantastic hospitality. Been here a few times and we were even recognized as familiar faces. The bar atmosphere is great, lots of new drink recommendations. And you definitely can’t go wrong with anything in the menu- our faves were the garlic bread and pizzas! (allergen friendly as well!)

We absolutely love the atmosphere at kneading Ruby, it's comfortable and the mood lighting sets a relaxed scene. The Food is always good and consistent. Drink selection is fantastic and has good variety. (Outdoor Nook now in the lane is great for pre dinner drinks and a pizza).
Staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.

Took my partner to Kneading Ruby for his birthday. The experience was amazing from staff to food and ambience, was 5 stars! Really enjoyed the zuchinni flowers, polenta chips and pizzas paired with lychee passionfruit cocktail! Yum! Will be returning again! :)

We had the prawns, margherita pizza and fish. They were all really nice save for the fish where we didn't enjoy the breaded texture and flavour of it.

Great experience. Was recommended here by a friend. $50 tasting menu was the best idea with our group of 10. Plenty of seating, great atmosphere, delicious and fresh food and great drinks. Service was fantastic too. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Such a great place to come for food. Very attentive and friendly staff, with a lovely, vibrant atmosphere. All the food we ordered was full of flavour, and left us feeling very happy! We would definitely come back here if we were ever in Wollongong again.

We had the most amazing birthday celebration dinner with my girlfriends here 🩷 We came all the way from Sydney and were definitely not disappointed. The food was spectacular!!! We were served by Florence and she was amazing, so friendly and helpful. She also was very thoughtful with our dietary requests and made our night truly special. Thank you! We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again soon x

Lives up to the considerable hype! Really high quality dishes at reasonable prices, great wine list too. Loved the pizzas, lots of vego options too which is always appreciated

I took my young family for an early dinner (5:30pm). The staff were super nice and professional. They served the kids food quickly, but the food was not a standard kids meal, it was a wood fired pizza with kid friendly ingredients.
The wine was spectacular only to be trumped by the Gnocchi! The food was top class and the setting was rustic and special.

Make sure to have a booking beforehand because this place gets busy!

The polenta chips was delicious and crunchy! The pizzas came out steaming hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the pork Sausage pizza.

The pasta in the end was also rich and flavoursome. I recommend coming here

We had a fabulous night at Kneading Ruby, mostly thanks to our amazing waitress Poppy. We all agreed that the level of service was beyond anything we had experienced for a long time. Poppy made us feel so welcome and really knew how to describe and recommend everything on the drink and food menu. Drinks and food were delivered just at the right time and we all enjoyed each dish and drink that we ordered. All staff were friendly and ready to assist in anyway. We found that the whole restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and even though it was busy - we were able to talk and it was not too noisy. We really loved the whole experience and highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out and somewhere to go to experience top quality service.

Food is amazing here. I don’t usually order garlic bread but I order it every time from here. Must try th garlic bread
and pizza with vegan nduja. The waiters are all lovely and the atmosphere is so welcoming

Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing. We have also had a few times now the set menu with friends and family and wow, so much yummy food, 5 star food. We have been here a few times, the staff here are fantastic and the hospitality. Love the Vibe of this place.

We visited Wollongong from Sydney for 4 days and dined at Kneading Ruby on our second night. Everything was so beautiful. The service attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The king prawns, garlic bread and burnt basque cheesecake were the stand outs for us. Even our two kids loved their pizza.

We enjoyed it so much, we dined there again on our last night. Thanks to the team for such a memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to visit again next time!

A hidden gem in lanes of Wollongong. The vibe of the restaurant is unmatched. The food options for vegetarians is just enough. The gnocchi was the best amongst all with perfect texture and balance of flavour. The quantity is good for the price especially the pizza. You have options for gluten free pizza. The staff was amazing and friendly.
