Spiced Kitchen Mauritian & Thai Cuisine

Oh where should I begin? The place itself is not that spacious, but the service and the food, everything was a beyond our expectation. I've never tried Mauritian food before, and I was totally blown away. All the food was very rich, flavourful, and pungent. I highly recommend this to everyone.

I do like a curry and was not expecting the delicious taste explosion I experienced from the ‘Lamb Curry’ from Spiced Kitchen Mauritian. Hats off to the Chef. I will be bringing some friends next time to experience the delicious food this restaurant is serving. Yum!

Brand new shop with novel fusion Asian cuisine. Refreshing, dark themed interiors, good quality furnishing, cutlery, ambience. Customer service is attentive and the food nice and fresh with lots of flavours.

We were staying in the area for a few days and did a Google search to find somewhere to eat and came across this restaurant with its great reviews so off we went! So glad we did! What a wonderful experience. From the welcome by Danny when you enter and his fantastic knowledge of the menu which he personally talks through with you, to the actual product produced by Paul, everything was amazing. Danny was friendly and happy to chat whilst also being aware of everything his guests needed. Wish we were staying longer but will be back for more delicious food if we’re passing through again. Thanks again.

A stunning example of Mauritian food. If you haven’t tried Mauritian food before you will love experiencing new flavours.

Incredible food - the flavours are insane and the produce is so fresh! They really take pride in their meals and it shows in their fantastic dishes. We had the vegan options of mushroom eggplant dip (a surprising standout!), satay cauliflower and Creole vegetables and everything was cooked to absolute perfection with an amazing array of herbs and spices to accompany. Cannot recommend more highly and will definitely return soon!

This has to be one of the best places to eat in Wollongong/the Illawarra. Every mouthful of every dish is so full of flavour. Over the several times I’ve eaten here, Danny and Paul never fail to exceed my expectations.

I would highly recommend this place. Terrific fresh produce with delicious flavours. Very welcoming atmosphere. It's rare to find people who are so passionate about what they do but both Danny and Paul are extremely friendly and even though it was busy took the time to explain the dishes, what complemented the dishes and at the end of the night when everyone had left took the time to sit down and have a conversation with us. It was great to see how passionate they were about their food and it really shined throughout each faultless dish. It was a pleasure dining at spice kitchen.

What an amazing dining experience! Came down for an afternoon of surfing and found this place through google reviews. We’d never had Mauritian food before and realise we have been missing out! Service was exceptional. Food was amazing. My partner who doesn’t like cook fishes loved the cooked kingfish and rock cod curry! Loved the mussels too. Thank you Danny. We will definitely be back.

Just amazing! Everything! Food was so good my kids keep begging me to take them to Spiced Kitchen. Danny and Paul are so passionate about every detail and it makes eating here even more enjoyable. The first time we went we were a group of 9 and we got Danny and Paul to feed us what they thought we'd like - only we didn't like it, we LOVED it. The second time we were a group of 6 and they surprised us with this amazing artichoke dhal... so yummy. The restaurant itself is also beautiful - we love the patterned black wall tiles. Can't wait to experience Mauritian night.

Just had a beautiful dinner over there! We love their fried rice, it was so tasty. The owner was so friendly and so nice! He also offered us to try two Mauritius dishes! It was amazing ! I love the fish with mustard. We are coming there again for sure! Thank you Danny and Paul :)

Danny and Paul have given us the restaurant we have been searching for! We have been two times, once for lunch and once for the Mauritian night. The lunch was a beautiful green curry chicken bursting with flavour and the prawn dish tasted so fresh! The Mauritian night was a great new experience that left us with a wonderful memory and a love for new food. The restaurant itself is intimate, and the owners make you feel like family. They have clearly spent a lot of time thinking about the atmosphere of the place, as it is warm and inviting. We look forward to many more meals here.

Wow, wow, wow! The food and the service is absolutely fantastic. The owners Paul & Dan are extremely welcoming and their food is honestly the most flavourful meals I have had in a long time.
