We are from Sydney, this is the first day we stay here and found this cafe, near the beach, the food is yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is served very quickly, I ordered a big breakfast and they noticed we have two people so they separated into 2 small dishes, very thoughtful. I recommend this cafe and will definitely come back

This is such a sweet spot on the cliff of North Wollongong Beach. You can enjoy feeling soothing sea breezes on a hot summer day while entertaining your taste buds with lovely cappuccino. The staff are extra freindly too. Thank you Mudcat Cafe:)

My Boyfriend and myself visited Wollongong for a little getaway, and wasn’t sure where a lot of things were, best places to eat, places to visit etc.
We were staying in Church street and came across Mudcat and it looked really good. It was so lovely, especially Paul. It was busy being a Saturday morning and Paul told us if we wanted to wait for a table and we are totally fine with waiting, no doubt it would be the same wherever you would-of gone along the beach. Paul made time to chat to us once we had a table and told us some spots to visit. Very friendly staff, really yummy breakfast too.
Thank you so much Paul and staff.

Wowza! Firstly, customer service is amazing. Secondly, the servings were decent and so so tasty! We ordered the big breakfast and the avocado and salmon (do yourself a favour and add a fried egg!). Their coffee is really good too. Cannot wait to come back!

This place lives up to its name. Despite 5 ppl sitting at tables outside at 6.16am my coffee came out within 2 minutes of ordering. The coffee and fritter were awesome. Nice work guys. I could have eaten at Novotel where I stayed but this was far better value.

Absolutely amazing service, especially with a difficult customer (not me of course, the friend I had with me). Great coffee, great food, and great views. We originally went as it was one of the only places open at 6:30am. I'll be back there again.

Fantastic service and meals and a beautiful view to enjoy the meal. The salads are absolutely delicious. Great job Paul and team, only gave you 5 stars because there is no option for 6. Steve.

The MudCat crew absolutely rock. We travel up here every other week for work and have our morning coffee and breakfast here. This morning we sit down and without even asking over comes the coffee order. Exactly how we like it. And the view is pretty good too. Thanks team Mudcat.

Very expensive but fresh food and great service. If you've got the budget, highly recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch. Limited seating so the place packs out pretty quickly, takeaway might be your only option if it's peak hour

I was one of those annoying hangry people that didn't know what to order so a very patient waiter (or maybe owner?) suggested the fritter stack and boy it didn't disappoint! Coffee was great, service was great, I'm desperate to go back!!
