The Foundery Cafe

Large cafe on the high street (with view to the steel works!). Cafe is open and contains a small book exchange area. Coffee is excellent. Food is solid. Owner is very friendly!

It's great I go there every week. They have the best coffee the food is amazing. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend them. Every Friday from 10am they have art for healing group's that have helped me so much every one is made feel welcome. Even if you just need someone to talk to and listen to you please come along

Just got to try this place out. It is fabulous. Good healthy cafe food (wraps, sandwiches, frittata, salad etc). Coffee is great - mid range in intensity with a nice smooth feel. The Cinnamon Scroll is to die for. Style is very open with the indoor/outdoor hipster vibe :-) And loads of bookshelves full of books. Definitely going back. Servings are generous - take a friend to help out and get two for the price of one.

Great atmosphere and awesome due to.er service that always have smiles on their faces. They tend to familiarise themselves with each customer who goes there regularly and can pretty much memorise your main orders and have it ordered for you saving you time

Brilliant food, wide open, spacious & relaxing setting. Last time I was there even reading material everywhere to be found. Run by the Salvation Army. Need I say anymore.
