First time customer and will definitely come back. Authentic Thai cuisine, full of flavour. Duan the chef does a fantastic job creating flavoursome dishes. Really enjoyed the experience, the staff are lovely as well. Highly recommended!

We dined at this nice local Thai restaurant last night and sampled many dishes, they were all best in favour and at good value with generous portion, fried rice and curry dishes are recommended.

Had an awesome time with my mates eating some authentic Thai food! This place is by far the best I've had in Australia! The owner is very friendly and hospitable - definitely going back to try out other dishes!

First time ordering from here last night. Would have to be by far the best Thai I have had in a long time. Fresh, tasty and fast delivery! The green curry was beautiful! Not packed with loads of carrot like other places do.. definitely my new favourite place! Well done chef!

Great place for delicious Thai food. Owner Gary and his wife, the chef, were both super friendly. We had chicken satay, pad see-ew and panang curry and each of the dishes tasted terrific.

Hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had. The menu is all the classic Thai favourites but the flavours are absolutely out of this world. Not to mention the owner and staff are extremely friendly as well. I haven’t left a restaurant this happy in ages.

Fantastic Thai, will definitely order again. We got home delivery laksa, tom yum and chilli basil all with chicken and all were great. Nice fresh chicken pieces and authentic Thai flavours. Recommended.

One of the best Thai food I ever had. Had lunch with my partner this afternoon at this place. We loved it. Delicious food( satay chicken is must try entree)and the owner Gary is so friendly and lovely.
We are certainly going back and would highly recommend this place.

We dined in as a last minute date night having not visited before and we have already been back three times in the two weeks since. This Thai food is next level delicious! And the MD Gary is the friendliest bloke you’ll have the pleasure of chatting too. You won’t be disappointed.

We judge a Thai restaurant by its Pad Thai, and last night we found our new favourite Thai restaurant. BEST PAD THAI EVER. Every thing we ordered (Dim Sim, chicken satay sticks, jungle curry, beef Thai salad, satay noodles) was just beautiful, service was great, very hospitable. Very enjoyable evening with my boys. We cannot wait for another excuse to eat out so we can go to Royal Thai Woonona again.

Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. Gary and his wife provided fabulous service with the food to match. Best Thai I’ve had in a long time. The satay stir fry, fish cakes and money bags were particularly yummy but it was all great!!! If you haven’t tried them yet, go and support them and have a fabulous meal. We will be back.

Just finished our Takeaway from Royal Thai & we absolutely loved it!!! Huge portions, I've never had vegies so fresh, the best satay I've had in a long time & the coconut rice is amazing!!!! We highly recommend everyone go there!!!! Thanks Royal Thai for such a delicious dinner!!!!!

Its our first time at Royal Thai, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back again. All the food were delicious and tasted authentic with a generous serving; we had three curries, pad thai omelette, pineapple fried rice and our favourite was the tamarind fish. The service was at another level above the rest; attentive, friendly and polite. Thanks Gary and your team for the generous hospitality.

Wonderful Thai, wonderful friendly service. We dined in. Food was delicious, fresh and great thai flavours. We loved the green curry the most. Lovely family business, paid our compliments to the chef after our meal.

Excellent food! Friendly staff. Monday night eating out at 5pm by myself and really enjoyed the Thai music, decor and pleasant staff. Definitely coming back soon! Best vegetarian fried rice "this side of Bangkok". 😋

Neil and I dined at Royal Thai twice on our trip up and down the south coast of Sydney. The food is fresh, tasty and nutritious. The owner made every effort to make us feel welcome. The food is prepared by his wife who is thai and certainly knows how to make a great thai curry. Would recommend.

We drove from sea cliff bridge to Wollongong and found this restaurant. This is the best Thai food I have ever had. I tried Tom Yum, Panang curry, stir seafood and pineapple fried rice. You can order the food with any meat or vegetable you like. The food was very nice and not expensive. Tom yum soup tasted delicious with special spices. And the Penang curry was sweet and spicy. It was good with rice. The owner was surprised that we finished all the dish. He asked us whether we were very hungry. We said no because the food was so great!!! I would like to recommend my friend to come!

Fantastic food in a low key, yet friendly local eatery. The soups are really worth trying, and the mains are varied and always tasty. Takeaways are also high standard and packaged well. Woonona is a surprising eat street and this is the pick of the bunch. Highly recommended.
