Taste Of Asia North Gong

As a Sydney local, finding a good vegan restaurant can be a challenge, but our experience at “Taste of Asia Northgong” in Wollongong was truly exceptional. The food was incredibly delicious, and we were thoroughly impressed.

The vegetables in the Veg Tempura were perfectly cooked, with a juicy interior and a crisp exterior that added a delightful texture to each bite. The Drunken Noodles were a highlight, offering a satisfyingly hot and spicy kick that was just perfect for a winter dinner.

The Chef's Special Fried Rice was bursting with flavors, and the Japanese Gyoza was simply delicious. However, the standout dish of the night was the dessert - the "Roti Sizzle" was truly next level. It had the perfect balance of hot and mild sweetness, with a delightful coconut flavor complemented by marshmallows.

Overall, our experience at Taste of Asia Northgong was nothing short of fantastic. The food quality, flavors and service was good ,we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Wollongong

Great customer service!
We’ve ordered take out several times from here and always been pleased. Lots of gluten free options. Most impressively tonight, after making a mistake on our pick up order, they remade my dish & drove it out to my home in Balgownie within 25 minutes with apologies and a big smile.

Have driven past many times. It looks underwhelming from the outside but it he food is Wollongong’s unexpected hidden treasure.

Ordered takeaway dishes - Pad See Ew with pork, Signature Combination Fried Rice and Green Curry with chicken - absolutely loved it all! Such delicious meals, we can’t wait to dine in.

If you’re craving Asian food, this is the place for you. I had the mango curry and it did not disappoint. The flavours were amazing, tasted just like Thailand, I had a glass of wine with the meal for a great price as well. Definitely recommend

Had the loveliest lunch here with papaya salad, chicken ginger rice, drunken noodle and massaman beef, all vegan and all around excellent! Surprisingly easy to find parking here (although the turn into the parking lot isn't the most convenient). Spacious and lovely ambience. 10/10 would recommend, especially for vegans. If you only want to try one dish here try the vegan chicken ginger rice, you will not regret it!

I can't judge the service or atmosphere, but I can definitely judge the food. I have ordered takeaway 3 times from this restaurant... The food has been consistent and delicious! I would recommend to anyone who is fond of Thai and/or Vietnamese food.

The food is really nice. They have a variety of food. The price is reasonable compared to the portion. Great offer for this month for lunch too!

The meals were very generous sizes and super delicious!! As good as any in Thailand!! The fact that all 9 of us didn't leave a grain of rice on our plates says it all. Will definitely go again and will tell all our friends too!

Just awesome all around. They've got a separate vegan menu with tofu and great mocked meats options. The lady who served us was friendly and helpful too.

Had the magic box. Was absolutely brilliant. Along with the service and bourbon dry an lime while I waited. Can't recommend highly enough! Just found my new favourite Thai restaurant. Cheers

From entry the staff were fantastic. We had a family of five and were catered to perfect. Entrees and mains were hot and fresh and the flavours were amazing. Great prices, too! We will be back soon, definitely! Big thanks to the staff and chefs.

Had a belly-full of Thai dish after a long long while. The food was extremely good and the hospitality even better.

Had Seafood Spring Rolls yum yum. The Curry Puffs so full of flavour. I had Fried Tofu and Peanut Sauce as a main omg so healthy and yummy. Will definitely go back and try other foods. The restuarant doesn't look like much but they definitely make it up with their food. My Husband had Mongolian Lamb and he hasn't stopped raving on about it.

Hands down the best Thai restaurant around. Delicious food and an extensive menu with the ability to cater for dietary restrictions. Staff are lovely, delivery is prompt and customer service is always great. Highly recommend 😊

Had a delicious raw salmon poke bowl!! The best one I have had in Wollongong! Definitely recommend!
