Schnitz Wollongong

My name is Patrick and I own a disability support service called Mentor Mates. We create social groups for our participants. One of the groups focuses on eating out at restaurants together the. Doing an activity after. Last Wednesday the group chose Schnitz. The staff were very welling from the moment we arrived! They were accommodating to my staff and participants.

It was one of our participants birthday so they provided us with cutlery and plates and helped us make the night so special!
Everyone loved the food, we will definitely be back there soon!

Great Food! Great friendly efficient staff.

First time having Schnitz today with my family, the young man thqt served us was really good at his job, was lovely and accomodating. The food was phenomenal, really great tasting and came out hot and served on dinner plates. Really enjoyed our time and will 100% be back to try the other food!

Very clean very nice food and delicious food

My very first Schnitz experience was in Wollongong over a year or so ago.
It has recently moved from it's original location in the food court area to a dedicated 'dine in' premises at Wollongong Central.

The staff were very helpful in helping me decide on trying something different, and they didn't disappoint.

There's something for everyone on the menu.
Take a walk on the wild side and explore the menu.

Great and tasty food! Even the veggie schnitzel was very tasty, you won't miss the meat!

Good service with nice seating area. Although a few seconds later my top bun was taken by an aggressive silver gull. So watch out xx

My husband and I were just walking by looking for a quick snack and found this place. We loved it. Friendly staff, the place is clean and food very tasty. The best are the gluten free options. We certainly recommend and will come back 😁

Great Food! Friendly efficient service.

This was my go to place for a Schnitzel. I was in love with Cheese and Herb Schnitz. Everything was perfect in it. Until today when I was trying to order, they told me that Cheese & Herb is off the menu.

I’ve no clue why, I thought a lot of people would be buying it. Hence, I want to put this message out there to schnitz, PLEASE BRING BACK CHEESE & HERB!!

Schnitz is delicious, the quality dropped a bit after they moved location, but they're back to being fantastic, I assume this was just that they had to train new staff? Both the chicken and vegetarian schnitzels are great. The chips are gloriously delicious and salty. I eat here quite often, so I definitely recommend trying them.

Best food ! Best staff !! We ordered quite a few meals today and made a mistake while doing it. They exchanged the meal which was ordered wrong by us and didn’t even complained about it. Very very kind of you guys. You all have our gratitude 🤗♥

They delivered the best burger I’ve ever had to our table within 5 minutes of ordering it, they were very friendly about it too.

Absolutely Amazing place.. service is fast and friendly, food is fresh and very tasty.. price is amazing.. 10 out 10.. Is definately my new favourite schnitz place..

Honestly a lot better than Grill'd these days, especially with repeatability and food quality. 5/5 food and service, 4/5 on value with their chips+drink meal.

Went through a tough month or two when it moved location and had to train up new staff, but now it's back and doing satisfying and nicely made food again.
Quick service, nice staff, clean eating areas.

I recommend wraps over burgers for ease of eating, but each to their own 😀

Chips are killer, albeit slightly more pricy than would be ideal.

Love visiting here... Since moving into their own restaurant they have become more of a specialty place. The chips are amazing, schnitzel cooked like a schnitzel should be cooked. Not the hugest menu but it doesnt have to be. Bit pricey also but if you want decent quality food and don't want the kids to eat at maccas they will love this place.
