I came here 4 times, all excellent. The food was so yummy, all of my friends loved it. We always pick Pad Thai with beef and Tomyum Fried Rice. The space was a little bit narrow, I and my friends were talking loudly so the stafff reminded us, so appreciated that. Would definitely come again

Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Thai Break😊The Pad Si Ew had a delightful aroma and taste, the Crispy Soft Shell Crab was a hit, crispy and flavourful, especially the sauce that accompanied it, perfect for pairing with rice.

Had Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Massaman curry, Seafood Fried rice, and Thai milk tea. All of the dishes were spot on. Service was top class. Girl at the counter was super courteous and lady that was serving was so nice to my kids and attentive. No photos. Too busy eating. Thanks 🙏

Great place with excellent vegetarian and vegan options.
I have overlooked this place for years, and was very happy to return. I had added this to my vege food saved list.

Thai Break is conveniently located near the entrance of Macquarie Centre on Herring Road by the bus stops, so it's an easy place to stop if you're changing buses there. It is a great "neighbourhood Thai" place in a shopping centre full of chain stores. They also offer delivery, which is how I most often get their food (so I'm not rating service or atmosphere).

Not all dishes are a win, but the Pad Khing (ginger-spiced stir fry, pictured with my review) and the Larb Gai are reliably delicious, and the portions generous for the price. The Pad Khing's description says that it is mild, and it looks like a fairly plain dish, but it is actually somewhat spicy due to the ginger (just not chilli spicy). If you like ginger, I recommend it. It contains a good assortment of veg. Yesterday I ordered it with prawns, but received it with a mix of prawns and thin sliced lean chicken breast and enjoyed it so much I'll order it like that again.

I'm not sure the larb has toasted rice granules in it, but the flavour is spot on -- although if you are a fan of super-spicy larb, you might want to ask for more chilli. Unusual for larb in my experience, it includes some thin sliced chicken breast as well, It is a massive contrast with the spicy chicken burger mince dish served as larb by another Thai delivery restaurant this week, which had completely lacked sour and sweet dimensions.

In terms of authenticity, I have included the dockets from the two Thai restaurants I ordered from this week. For added authenticity, one is even written on the back of a thin cardboard carton cut down to size. I think it's fairly obvious which if the two is likely to provide more authentic Thai food. And that's Thai Break.

Absolutely tasty and reasonably priced thai food, especially when you consider they are located in a mall.

The Laksa is the perfect amount of spicy and the Pad See We has a slightly smokey flavour.

The staff here are always polite.

Food was exceptional. I had Chicken Pad Thai and vegetable omelette which was divine. Luckily I got it on the afternoon special for $10 and omelette was $6. Fantastic authentic flavour and will definitely return to sample more from the menu. Service wasn’t bad in any way it was just not 5 star.
Overall a great Thai meal at a great place

This place is now one of my favourite Thai restaurants at Macquarie Centre. We tried this for the first time for dinner and got Pad see ew and two laksas (one prawn and one chicken) for our main. Then we got Mango and Black sticky rice for dessert with house made iced tea as drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was also top notch. One of the beat places in the mall, highly recommended.

Just opposite Max Brenner, you can't miss it. The food is tasty and authentic. The most interesting thing about the place is that the kitchen is open and its super clean, so you can see the whole process how your food is prepared, cooked and delivered to your table if you seat next to the kitchen. Will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu. Don't forget to have a look on the Chef Recommended Menu on the wall next to the entry as well, all the best dishes are there.

Seriously, this is definitely a great place for afternoon hunger. This shop got me hooked cuz I ordered Pad Thai, but basil fried rice got served instead. However, that fried rice was awesome, above and beyond. It doesn’t break your wallet too

I did this review after 4 visits. This Thai place is amazing. Authentic flavour, excellent cooking, great value. I like it better than the other Thai restaurant in Macquarie center. It's located at the main entrance away from the food court. Maybe that's why it doesn't get enough customers it deserves.

The lady at the counter is very pleasant and always warm, great customer service! The food is delicious, we always get the chilli basil fried rice and drunken noodles. The combination of the service and food has made this out go to thai place :)
