It was a time when my parents and I decided to execute the Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship forms to let me represent their legal and medical interests in all situations. I was looking for a lawyer who could speak Russian or Ukraine, my parents’ native languages. This is how I found Mark Shumsky (who spoke perfect Ukrainian) at Stacks Collins Thompson in Hornsby. Legally, my case was rather straightforward. However, the prospective need for having the above-mentioned documents was not cheering on my parents. I’d like to go through all formalities in the most emotionally smooth way for them. Mark was absolutely fantastic in that respect. He comprehensively reviewed all aspects of the very critical authorisations with my parents ensuring each of them fully understood the meaning of the documents and how and under which circumstances they could be used. At the same time, Mark did it in a very warm and supportive family-like conversation.

On a separate note, I’d like to mention that I was also very pleased with the cost. We were on a budget and that aspect was important for us.

In October 2016, my wife left the family home with my four beautiful children and the family car whilst I was working. I needed to speak to someone immediately to find out what my rights were and what I should do. I called solicitors and law firms from everywhere, but none of them helped because I earned “too much” for free advice, or they wanted me to sign up and come in for advice. I then called Stacks, Collins and Thompson. Susan Foote spoke to me and helped me understand what I needed to do. She helped me at my lowest point and guided me in what to do before initiating Court proceedings. Once Court proceedings were indeed happening, Sue became my solicitor and fought hard so that I would get access to my children again. I was falsely accused of domestic violence and many other nasty things, but Sue and her fellow practitioners at Stacks, Collins and Thompson fought to clear my name and in the end not only enabled me to get access to my children, but indeed won the case for me. I am now the primary carer of my four beautiful children and I have my car back too. I had Mark Shumsky handle a commercial matter for me, in setting up my business. Once we worked out what was needed, Mark turned the handle and cranked out the instruments. Seem well constructed. Hopefully, after customisation, they will hold up in arbitration or in court, if there is ever a dispute.

mark davidson did give me introduction. but he just let me to think the action without give clear analysis. and he read the materials slow and twice! that's waste of my time and money. i wont recommend.
