Florentina's Trattoria + Las Tapas Bar

Amazing place and amazing location. Food was next level and service was just beyond what we expected.

Talk about the owners making you feel like family from the first minute! Highly
recommend and the food was packed with flavour!

Ruby was our brilliant waitress, so professional and efficient especially for one so young. Food was so good the whole experience was beyond what we’d hoped for. Definitely will be back. I did deduct 1 star from atmosphere (unfairly) the Airport Flight path is not their fault.

Called for lunch after a morning on the beach. Nice food. Good service. Had mixed bruschetta starters, followed by a pizza and off board special (ribs), plus drinks. Reasonably priced. Recommended.

Very nice restaurant. Service was a bit slow, but the food was well worth waiting for.

Spent an enjoyable evening here last Friday night. Fabulous food and atmosphere. 3 of us dined, we had 2 of the crusted salmon specials and the eyefillet with blue cheese risotto. Have absolutely raved about the food ever since. After dinner we moved to the Las Tapas Bar for drinks and chilled listening to the live music (Josh is awesome)!

Great value - fun atmosphere and on the Saturday night we went they even had a lounge singer doing Sinatra/Dean Martin/Bublé music. Staff were lovely. And it’s good value!

Spent an enjoyable evening here last Friday night in the Tapas Bar. Fabulous service, food, and live music which added a great vibe!! 6 of us dined, and we sampled a broad cross section of the tapas menu plus desserts and all the food was good. Be sure to book as it gets very busy. We look forward to returning.

Love this hidden gem. If you haven't been, go! It's awesome. The Food is lovely, awesome staff and the drinks are 100% better than you will get anywhere thanks to Frank. Atmosphere is so charming. Amazing night, thanks guys x

We went here during my birthday weekend celebration.
The food was amazing! Simple and well-made at an affordable price. Less than $100 for two, with drinks, pizza and two pasta.

We are already looking forward to our next visit.

What a lovely dining experience we had tonight. The service was excellent, the best I've had in years. Ruby, thank you. You're a natural. The food was excellent. We had the special, eye fillet Wellington and fettuccini carbonara with chicken.
We will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

I booked for the wrong day. Staff were gracious and made a plan. Tapas were excellent and so was service. Only negative was a grumpy barman - but the rest was a treat!

Florentine has beautiful food but indoor dining has no air-conditioning as I was eating I was getting hotter and hotter and so was my partner I took half of the meal home just to leave you must have the air-conditioning on

I am absolutely shocked to read the bad reviews on here and am disgusted about some of the petty things people go out of their way to say, for what benefit??

I dined here tonight, and am a secret shopper. I did not have a booking.

Firstly I was welcomed into the restaurant, I was wearing a tshirt and beach shorts and thongs so I could do unnoticed and I was treated incredibly warm.

They were fully reserved, but I was a lot earlier than the guests coming tonight. I was promptly seated and even heard the owner and waitress comment "let's put her on this one so she doesn't have to rush off"

The food was incredible, I had the pepperoni pizza and cheesecake. The service impeccable, and the atmosphere outstanding.

If I could give 7 stars I would. But instead....

I'll be bringing many many people here very often, as we are locals.

Great atmosphere and live music. We called to have dessert & a cocktail at the bar and we’re made to feel very welcome. Had the best ever Affogato. Looking forward to meal soon . Thankyou for the special service even when you are busy👏

How does Mudjimba have one of the coolest bars in the Sunshine Coast?! Or maybe I just got lucky living so close to Mudjimba… little slice of heaven… literally, across from the beach. Parking always available. Owner of Florentina’s Trattoria next door, Pamela Aranguiz goes above and beyond for her customers! She knows all the locals by name, has kept the community fed during this entire pandemic, and they even let us film an episode of House Hunters International for HGTV! Mudjimba is a small community, and this new Tapas Bar is literally in the heart of it all!
The bartenders know their cocktails, the kitchen puts out amazing Spanish inspired dishes, and the staff are very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating available, can accommodate large parties, and outside seating is DOG FRIENDLY!!!

Finally an authentic Italian restaurant! We had the pizza and carbonara and it was absolutely beautiful!! Reasonable pricing and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely go back again!!!!
